Spectacularly knowledgeable, extremely helpful. Does NOT let students slide by with no effort, but will always help you understand if you are willing to learn.
Miss Jenkins is a great teacher and she really knows her stuff. I know that if I have a question about the work or reading I will get an answer asap, even if she has to find one.
Jes-us. Obnoxious, arrogant, that voice/laugh!.. And wow, she knows a lot of facts--that does not make her a genius. She doesn't focus on the "big picture" and what things "mean", just minute details.
One of the brightest and most amazing teachers I have had. I am not one of the supossed "favorites" but those who are deserve it.
Overall, the quality of the course left a bit to be desired and was not good preparation for a college-level literature/writing course. Favoritism is pretty blatant in the classes.
Gifted English was ok. She's EXTREMELY intelligent and teaches well, but she does play favorites VERY BADLY.
Miss Jenkins is an outstanding teacher, and I've not noticed that she plays favorites. She does a good job teaching her classes.
Jenkins rules. Who cares if she plays favorites? Those she "chooses" are the kids who deserve the attention.
Jill is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She's creative, fun, incredibly intelligent, and also pushes students to reach their full potential.
