I look forward to coming to Mr. Davis' class every day. His personality, sarcasm, and "come on you guys" really brighten up my day. He is very knowledgeable about physics and is a great teacher. His class is pretty easy, if you review the notes and study, but there is a lot of material. He is very helpful if you go to him after school. Make sure you study and take every single note, because sometimes he puts several questions on the test about something he mentioned once.
As a freshman I find Mr Davis to be a great source of stress. He often gets sidetracked from actually teaching and then gives tests that contain problems I've never seen before. I know doing my homework would take 1-1 1/2 hours because I would spend time trying to teach myself the lesson. I am a straight a advanced student and take excellent notes. I, however need to have clarification on what I am learning mr.Davis does not give his pupils that.
Mr.Davis is a very knowledgeable physics teacher , in order to do well in his class , consider paying close attention in class , reviewing notes and getting help after school , his exams vary in difficulty they not only require you to know the material but u must be able to apply it as well . Good luck to you , remember he is some what lazy and if u want something changed u have to pressure him , do all the homework .all hw Answers are on Troy high schools website. :) good luck
Mr davis, he can get off topic often and never realizes he needs to get back on track, but to get an A, take very good notes and listen very carefully to what he has to say. do all the homework and all the worksheets to at least have a c or d
material itself is not too difficult to comprehend, but mr. davis occasionally contradicts himslef. he goes off topic a lot, but generally is a pretty good teacher if you take notes and study a lot
He sucks at teaching
Mr Davis was my FAVORITE teacher last year!! He explained things so well and and he had a lot of knowledge on all things physics, Also his massive test curves didn't hurt. All you need to do to get an A is pay attention (really hard) in class and study your notes for the tests. His class was very fun as well.. My favorite day was when we all got shocked holding hands.
Hey you guys its not that hard you guys. YOU GUYS YOU GUYS YOU GUYS. ITS NOT THAT HARD.
