I've taken 4 full-year classes of Melvin and I can honestly say that he is unorganized, poor, and the worst teacher I've ever had. His classes are ironically summerized by his belief: "If you try, you'll succeed;" even though he truly wants his students to do well, his belief becomes a negative because students are rarely given time to understand material, and thus students develop bad habits while trying to work out problems they can't solve. Unless you need his classes, avoid at all costs.

Melvin will help you however he can with your grade if you ask him, he will also stay long any day after school for extra help if you need it. He also uses visuals and labs to explain concepts.
