worst teacher i ever had. if you're good at math she loves you, but she WILL NOT help you or like you at all, OR treat you with respect if you can't manage to keep up. Her handwriting is worse than a two year olds and she expects you to read her handwritten homework and review sheets. avoid her at all costs.

Intensely aggravating. Yes, her calculus class has been one of the easier math classes that I have taken in school, but only because she moves so unbelievably slowly. Perhaps it's just the coursework, but she feels the need to repeat every detail, relevant or not to the topic at hand. Make no mistake, she knows her stuff very well, but she's unreasonable in trying to resolve administrative details and wastes large amounts of time on unnecessary things (Finding the limit of a constant for almost three weeks)

i loved her so much because her class was so easy. her tests are extremely easy and if you missed something you don't have to worry because she teaches everything multiple times and pretty clearly too. when she goes over a problem she basically reteaches the whole topic over again. that can be annoying bc it gets repetitive but it really helps sink into your head. yes, i have to admit she is kind of boring, but its not too bad. shes an awesome teacher. i got an 98 in her class

I like Ms. A because she gets 2 the point & doesn't waste time. The things I don't like abt her are these, however: she doesn't explain "important" standards off the bat & she (as mentioned) has very poor student-teacher relations. Also is very hard 2 approach if you care 2 try. Homework is mostly a joke, & tests you just have 2 pay attention in class 2 do awesome on. Like, no b.s. the written notes are irrelevant. I hate to tell you. Also, don't listen 2 her advice about not being able 2 do something

Knows her stuff very well and is a good teacher. But, as a person, and in terms of student-teacher relationships, she will make the student miserable. Extremely cynical and unfair toward students.

SHE IS THE BEST TEACHER EVER! I SWEAR. I was like really behind, and she got me STRAIGHT up to an immensely fantastic standard. I am exceedingly pleased, yet very upset at the lack of kindness towards Joan. Guys, don't discourage her. She's great. lov her

Shes boring at times and her taking points off from the tests just b/c u didnt do homework is kinda unfair. But, as long as u pay attention and take all necessary notes, shes not too hard. Just study for the tests and make sure u get high grades for all of them. If u do, ur pretty much home free.

If you are intelligent enough to solve math problems w/o writing all the so called "necessary" steps, you are screwed over, as she makes you write all of them down for no reason given whatsoever.

avoid this teacher at all costs unless you have a 95+ avg in math. She always says, "Its so easy you can do it in your sleep." My math grade went from 85 to 65
