Arcangleo is kindof unpopular, but she is very effective. I have a 3.4 gpa and shes realistic about what schools i can get in to. Its tough for some people to hear but its honest.
she is nice enough but she wouldn't stop trying to get me to take dance... and i was like OKAY i can't dance get over it. she also does not hide the fact that your grades are not good enough for you to go to you choice college.
She freaks me out and it did not help that she consistently confused me with another student. Every time I went in it was like meeting her for he first time becuae she remembered nothing about me and asked the EXACT SAME QUESTIONS. However, if you are hungry, she usually has candy.
i liked her very much. she took the chance to get to know me and gave me suggestions about how to improve my application overall. it must have worked - i made it into stanford, columbia,...
She told me not to plan on going to a big college b/c I would not be able to run competitively b/c I wasn't good enough. she dosn't even know me, or that I'm on varsity.
she does not know each person very well but pushes you to look good on paper.
very difficult to work with. rude and condecending. counselors are supposed to help you, not make your life miserable.
She does a poor job of encouraging students, which should be her main job as counselor. I asked for a different counselor to work with.
It seems as if she only likes you and thinks you'll get into college if you have at least a 3.8 GPA and you volunteer every weekend at a homeless shelter.
Was my counselor more than 10 years ago and I still remember hurtful things she said to me. Not honest things, just hurtful. Too bad she's in a position of pwr.
It be nice to actually get an honest answer regarding my future. If I'm not going to get into to nursing school because of my grades than tell me.
nice enough, but very synthetic. too caught up with other students - ie, seniors - to help anyone who is not graduating.
