he is a great teacher
I think he is Very demeaning to students and does not give answers to questions clearly. He grades really strictly. He does pick favorites and the people he doesn't like, he treats them badly often.
He's very self absorbed and doesn't give much help rather than just insult the person who is trying to improve.
I don't know if I've ever had a more unreasonable and stubborn teacher than this guy. Funny dude though.
The good - Knows his physics and knows how to teach it.
The bad - Impossible to work with. I always came in for help outside of school, and he seemed far more interested in insulting me than actually making sure I understood the material. This got so bad that I took asking other physics teachers for help to avoid talking to him. He's fine unless you go one on one with him, but when you do you understand the complaints. Insulting and uncomfortable experience overall.
Joe Rodino is definitely my favorite teacher of all time, even though I got a B in Physics with him. The class itself is tough and will be tough with any teacher you have (I had first semester with F
JoRo! As much as I hate physics, I actually looked forward to his class. It may have been difficult but it was fun. He makes a lot of jokes and plays favorites, but he picks on his favorites.
I looked forward to coming to his class everyday. It was not uncommon to have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard. If you're mature enough to laugh at yourself and go with his jokes, youll have fun
He will often take the slightest transgression and exaggerate it into an instance of "disrespect". He also is known to interpret misunderstanding of a difficult subject as insubordination or apathy
dont know why people would like him. kind of just likes to watch his students squirm with the ap material.
hes amazing... he teaches the subject of physics very thoroughly and ...he makes the subject very fun and enjoyable...he is a hard grader but that is very good preperation for the AP
Had him for physics, he's a good teacher, but you really have to be willing to work outside of class
I'm sorry, but rodino is NOT funny, nor is he a good teacher. Hes always so mean and especially conceited when answering questions, he made learning impossible for me.
Mr. Rodino is probably the funniest teacher I've ever had. Contrary to what many people have said, he IS a good teacher. You need to put in enough time outside of the classroom.
He's way too conceited and full of himself, but sort of taught I guess.
If he made the class impossible why did you rate the easiness a 5, Due to this I think you opinion is wrong
Ok, Rodino is pretty self absorbed and tends to compliment himself alot, hiding insecurities? But he really wasn't that clear of a teacher so it made learning AP physics impossibl
whoever wrote that sucks. dino is awesome and actually made the class fun. he actually made AP physics bearable.
never had a teacher that was more full of himself. knows how to teach and knows his physics, but needs to work a little on personality.
Well, I still have the rest of the year but he seems like a pretty good teacher. At least he teaches and helps us. Making the class a bit fun doesn't hurt.
