She is probably the sweetest teacher ever but she's kind of a confused lady. We would practically spend the whole class period checking over the homework rather than learning something new. She also grades people easily so even though we don't learn much in French-it's an easy A.
I had Madame Torreele last year for French III. She's a very easy grader, but you still have to pay attention if you want an A. If you got an A in French I and French II you'll probably still get an A. Postpones quizzes and tests a lot. A very nice lady though. And gets easily distracted!
She is the most nicest sweetest person in the entire world but she is the worst french teacher in the world, you go from not doing anything to taking quizzes every day on things you never learned
She's such a nice lady, but I hadn't learned a single thing in French 3. At first it was ok, there's not much work but then you realized that you could be using your time differently.
She's really sweet, and goes off on adorable tangents during her lessons. I took French 1 with her, and honestly, I did learn a lot. Her accent is very light and easy to understand, but if you're taking a more intensive, AP level French class, Madame Herzog can probably hekp you more.
she is the nicest person ever. i think the only words of french that i have learned are the ones i taught myself... she is near impossible to get mad... dont play apples to aplles during spartan time... she is a fun old lady and she can speak finnish too ya!
she's really sweet, most of the time. but she has these occasional really bad moods. you won't learn anything in this class though
She's a sweet woman, but I've been in her class for 3 years and am still at like, french 1 level when it comes to knowledge.
So nice, but not a good teacher at ALL! Everyone passes her class unless you seriously don't ever come to class or smile. Once she gets mad at you, watch out....
what a sweet old lady. however, i've been in her class for 2 years and learned barely a word of french. the class is too easy to pass without applying yourself.
she's such a wonderful lady but she cannot or does not teach. she's also very hard to anger but she tends to not like you once you do so. advice: just smile and nod, she'll love you.
Easy but we LEARN! Sometimes teachers make you feel class is OK because it is hard and confusing. I am glad I am in French class.
this lady is awesome. you won't learn much if you don't pay attention. you kinda have to teach yourself and then ask questions cause she dosn't really teach you much, but she is a great teacher!
Wow.. cool, interesting, very funny, genuine, great teacher... but you don't learn anything you have to do everything yourself.. if you get her off topic.. your good...
GREAT PERSON INSPIRATION, BUT CAN'T TEACH AT ALL. SHE'S STILL EASY THOUGH BUT YOU WONT PASS THE AP EXAM UNLESS YOUR FRENCH :)
Awesome teacher...Skipped like, 4 tests when she forget about them while talking to us! I love her! Awesome teacher!
I've had some horrible teachers before, and it's lucky that here French is taught by an actual Francophone. She might digress sometimes, but it's interesting!
Madame Torreele is a really kewl teacher and she is always willing to stay after to help. Sometimes she isn't so clear on assignments, but grading is EASY!!!!
She's a wonderful lady with lots of stories, but not much of an effective teacher. I learn more from the book. Her frequent speaking practices are helpful tho
She loves her subject and I love to learn. Keep it up Mme T.!
WOW we are learning like absolutely nothing! And how can one be graded on participation if there's never a chance to talk, when she's rambing on about Belgium?
Mme Torreele is THE BEST!I love French now and have no intention of changing out. Hard tests? Like yeah, right! I'm learning lots and Je ne etudier pas 4 tests
she's really TOO easy. I wish I were being given more of a challenge.
motherly, gives food to class, ineffective teacher, not much speaking practice
Too much story telling and goofing off, then when the test came... oh my.
She is the nicest lady I have ever met....keep teaching!!
the nicest lady ever, very sweet, but not the greatest teacher
