  • Class is very difficult with respect to tests/quizzes. However, homework is typically assigned about 2-3 weeks in advance of the due date, so if you don't procrastinate, you'll have enough time to do the problem sets in a meaningful manner. Going to the easy SLOBS will help get you perhaps a B, but attempting to solve all of them will help train you for the tests and get you that A.

  • Really smart, funny, and crazy. He seemed to know how to teach the material, but he presented everything in long lectures that could get boring and really off-topic. Otherwise, I learned a lot in the class. The class could get really hard, especially with tests and problem sets, but it was worth it.

Really bizarre teacher with many amusing anecdotes inserted into his lectures...if you actually pay attention. Grades are a fallacy.

I love Dr. Dell. He DOES grade stuff, and usually it's a horrible grade. That's why you should be happy that it doesn't count. Otherwise, he's a GREAT teacher, and you will learn a lot.

Possibly the oddest man ever, and also my best friend. You do learn a lot if you bother to stay awake, though it's true he never grades tests and grades are completely random.

I think I learned a lot from his class by trial-and-error, mostly through slobs at lunch. Good for intuition. Lectures were thorough, though some went over my head. Amusing and knowledgeable.

nice guy, doesn't grade, if you go to the slobs you'll get an A. Lectures are pretty boring, but use the time wisely. Like doing your homework. No one cares if its for physics or not.
