Easiest class one could ever pass. A heads up, he falls asleep in class sometimes when he gives vocab tests on Fridays. He does not really teach anything on how to improve on writing skills

Mr. Madri is one of the best english teachers in the english department. He is the only teacher in SFP that actually puts up 7 medium sized christmas trees in his classroom for the holiday season. He is very funny, his beard is goofy and he has a lot of expression. The work load is necessary and the 10 pts with the run ons is necessary, especially if one is taking english 10 honors. Mrs. Prohaska is another excellent, excellent teacher but it's a lot of work and literary analysis.

He really is not a good teacher at all. He is always arrogant towards his students and is never happy. He seems to actually enjoy failing his students. He finds any way possible to take off points and give exorbitant amounts of work. He will give an essay, test, homework and project at the same time. And doesn't care about anybody but himself. He will literally take 10 points off your grade if you look at him the wrong way. Just retire already, seriously.

This man doesn't know how to teach, he assigns so much work for the students and he doesn't even check it. He gives "extra credit" and doesn't even put it in. He doesn't teach, all he does is force the children to answer questions on the book but doesn't explain on them. He doesn't help the kids improve on their essay writing. He takes off 10 points on an essay if it is a run on or if it is not a complete sentence. Of all the stuff he assigns them, he grades not even half of them. Good luck ..

He is the worst English teacher anyone could ask for. He deduces around 10 points for every run on sentence you use in a writing assignment. He gives ridiculous amounts of work too. He'll assign multiple books to read, and won't go over any of it in class. I know people in the Honors (smart people) classes, and they don't do nearly as much work. He talks about plagiarism but any questions he'll assign you he copied of a site. If you end up with him, good luck, you'll need it.
