Mr Mazzola is the weirdest teacher I've met. His ways of teaching are unlike any other, but he is one of the funniest teachers ever. If you do you homework and pay attention (which he pretty much forces you to do) he' ll like you.
He bullies his students, the way I see it, if the class is good then they shouldn't be treated like they are in the army. Theres a fine line between being a leader and a dictator and he defintley crossed it. I did better in 8th grade when I actually had a nice teacher, when you're too busy hating a teacher, it's hard to learn anything.
Everybody is always saying bad things about him, but I think he is a cool guy and a great teacher. Its impossible not to like him, unless you are a complete troublemaker.
Great teacher he is the best teacher on his team. Yes, he is loud but he knows how to teach.
LOUD BUT I LOOOVE HIM!!!!!!!!! HE MAKES US PASS BECAUSE HE SCREAMS AT US ALL THE TIME I LOOOOVVE NOT EVER ONCE STUDYING!!!!!!!!! AMAZING CLARITY!!!!! LOUDER THAN GENE SIMMONS!!!!!!!!! I MEAN LOUD!!
he was rough but you always passed his class. i didnt need to study ONCE for ANY test. I always passed and no, im not an A+ studen in school. he was one of the best teachers i've ever had!
Mr.Mazzola was interesting in his teaching methods. The only thing was that you have to raise your hand every time and that i think wasnt right. Methods were good because you dont have to study much.
i had him last year,...he was kind of just too rough on us. yes, he was great teaching wise; he actually kept repeating things so we remembered it. but, maybe if he was nicer, it'd help more
looking back ... nope, not good .... very condescending
he was my honors teacher, and, everyone in my class hated him, including me. He was HORRIBLE at the time, but, now, thinking back.. he was actually one of the best teachers I ever had. He's good. :)
What on earth is everyone talking about? When I had John Mazzola back in 2001, he had to be one of my funnest, most down to earth teachers. He was also so helpful and caring with my visual disability.
ok - at first he's alright - but then - he gets mean - we would have behaed better if he was nice, and seems to think that not one of us has a brain
He often threatens the class, does little to prompt critical thinking, has arbitrary rules (no HW folders allowed - binders must go home), and teaches Honors like all others.
