ONE OF THE BEST classes I've taken at Pali. Rauschuber is the only AP gov teacher and if you're contemplating taking honors or ap, definitely take Ap. As someone who was originally interested in politics and the like, this class was wonderful for me and I really enjoyed learning every step of the way. He is a great instructor and tends to read of his lectures notes while you fill them in with the examples he says. he's very funny in class and will get excited whenever he hears an airplane outs

My favorite teacher this year. I'm more of a STEM-oriented person, so AP gov didn't really appeal to me (honestly I just took it to look good for colleges). However, Mr. Rauschuber changed my mind completely. I went from thinking "I hate learning social sciences" to "this is awesome." Mr. R is pretty tough on tests/grading, but in hindsight, it prepared me really well for the AP exam. The AP exam was a breeze compared to his tests. Anyways Mr. R is super funny, nice, and a fantabulous teacher!

Though this class may seem intimidating the first week you get use to it and it really isn't that hard if you read the lecture notes and listen to him when he lectures, instead of writing notes all the time because you will remember things he says better than the notes you write. Little to no busy work and gets to the point. He makes every class interesting with an anecdote and has a lot of enthusiasm for the material. I would definitely recommend this class as you learn and pass the AP exam!
