Gives great notes, but his lectures can get boring at times. Always grades fairly and is open to any questions no matter how silly they are
Mr. Slevin is a great guy. He is very respectable and his lessons are easy to follow.
Works very hard; however, the most interesting thing about him as both a teacher and a human being is his mustache, and that mustache don't teach the class. Boooooring.
Good teacher, works harder than some students (his powerpoints are long) and he grades fairly. Loves following current events.
VERY boring, i remember on the first day he was teaching us how to use a glossary as if we didnt know. he told me that something wouldnt be on the test and it was the FIRST QUESTION!
he has mesmerized the textbook but is VERY boring. i could NEVER READ HIS HAND WRITING.BIG PROBLEM.
really nice guy but lacks any creativity when it comes to teaching. Consistency is his best quality.
Global Studies discusses world regions and current events. But I find it funny that when we take notes we are given information from 1999! We are getting stats on countries that are 7 years old.
Also, be prepared to take notes, notes, and more notes! He is NEVER absent.
along with mr. alexander's class, this non-event is a study in boredom. i actually resent the guy for being so uninteresting.
Mr. Slevin is a great guy, but his class lacks... motion. He's like a record player stuck on reapeat. He just keeps going and going. Also, what's his obsession with fingering rubber bands?
Can be dry, but a very educational class. Nice guy. Able to talk about politics without taking a side.
The teaching is adequate but it's like he's reading from the textbook. Bring a pillow.
