If you are taking APUSH, this is the teacher to have. He really prepares you well for the exam even though he can be very challenging.

Mr. Stott was one of the best history teachers I've had. In class, he's clear and understandable, and clearly cares about the material that he teaches. It's important to be very attentive in his class and take detailed notes, because his tests can be difficult if not prepared for properly. When you don't understand a concept, he's very helpful and clear. I highly recommend taking one of his classes.

Mr. Stott has been my teacher for 2 years now and he has changed my outlook on history. Although his class is very difficult, he takes his class very seriously and makes the information interesting. I highly recommend taking one of his classes before you graduate.

He is an excellent teacher, but he is a very bad grader - often seems like one's grade does not correlate with one's knowledge of the period being tested.
