I like Madame Lichtenwalner. no, not the best, but not the worst. she is very knowledgable and she is extremely helpful and patient when i ask her for help. its the class full of morons that sucks.
I was very disappointed with her teaching style. it seemed as though she spent very little time actually preparing for her classes, and although she is intelligent(as her many degrees in multiple languages show) she had a hard time identifying with our class, and I did not learn much due to the lack of organization.
I had her in 1977 through 1978 for French class. She was an awesome teacher. I can't understand the bad ratings on this board. The thing that I remember is the skit that we had to do. We did a skit which involved a man taking a taxi ride called "Dans un taxi". Mrs. Lichtenwalner - you rock!
Had her in 98-99, one of the most miserable learning experiences ever. Bitter Woman who has no motivation to increase a students education.
True story..i had this woman in 1994 or 95 for spanish.always talked about how good her french class as opposed to our class. As a teacher now, i can varify how bad her class was.
I bet even in France they wouldn't be able to understand you!!!
I haven't learned like anything in her class. She needs to teach French, and learn to speak it properly.
Wow, she would be a good french teacher...if she could actually speak the language.
she's a really sweet person but she's needs to find a way to teach french to her students that we can actually understand...
One of the best teachers. People do not appreciate her for who she is and her knowledge. She's the type of person you hope to run into when lost in Europe.
When will this woman retire?! My mother had her as a teacher! Shes obsessed with France... She should really just move there.
a good teacher but overworked and stressed, she should take a vacation
