So I'm in college now but honestly, Mr. Daus is such a sweet and kind teacher. Personally, I didn't do too well in his class ( C but when I came back to visit he said I did fine) but I never had an interest in science so it's my fault. However, Mr. Daus is really nice and easy going. He treats his class like they are his kids, considering he is a dad and makes the best dad jokes. His class was pretty boring but honestly, he is such a high-spirited man it was just nice to see him and talk to him

He's a very nice teacher who knows what he's talking about. He will help any students who need extra time or assistance and makes sure to go over everything you need to know in class. You don't event really need to use the textbook unless you're really having trouble.

He is a great teacher who takes time to explain concepts that his students don't understand after class. His class can get a little boring with the lectures, but he does his best to insert some jokes to make the learning fun. Really appreciate how he makes time to help all of this students. His kindness makes up for the long lectures (which in the end are very helpful for tests and quizzes). I can't recall a single moment in which he was mad or even slightly upset. Wonderful year, learned a lot

Honestly, Mr. Daus is a great teacher! He's very nice and if you follow simple rules, his class is really easy. I actually learned a lot from him. He jokes around a couple time and they're actually funny sometimes. It all depends on your sense of humor. Overall, A great teacher and I wouldn't mind having his class again :)

One of the worst teachers you will ever encounter in your life. Totally useless, does not know how to teach and puts you to sleep with every lesson. His class is a waste of time.

One of the worst teachers in the school. The ringleader of the circus that is East Brunswick High School's science department.

One time I drew him as Daus Vader and he put the drawing on the whiteboard for a whole day. Also, he let me pass his class. Good stuff.

Mr. Daus does virtually nothing to further your knowledge of physics. His lectures have almost no content and very frequently puts kids to sleep (which he does nothing to stop), he rarely teaches the entire unit and relies on students reading the textbook to pass. He is too strict about every rule and policy - especially IDs - and has no emotion at all. The best I can say is that he is an easy grader on labs. Make sure you read the textbook the night before a test or quiz if you want to pass.

Great teacher with great morals. Fair to every student and is nice, even with the dumbest questions. Boring overall, but physics is boring so it isn't his fault. Gives help and actually cares for the students.

such a sweet man. he is a great teacher. if you find his class boring, its only because physics is boring to you, not him. hes always willing to give extra help to anyone that needs and his tests are fairly reasonable if you study and look over your notes. hes so nice your lucky to have him!

the most often used phrase in this class : ehhhhhh technically . Class is boring, sleep, just look over notes before test. We actually counted how many times we could get him to say ehh

He is a really nice guy and in return only asks for respect. He doesn't mind if you sleep in his class and is more than willing to help you. Just show him respect, and he'll be fine.

He is alright, but he is too much of a rules fanatic. He follows guidelines really closely(although if you have a fairly high grade you can eat in his class, like i did everday...) You either understand what he is talking about completely, or dont' get it at all. My test grades fluctuated about 30 points on a regular basis - from an a on one test to a c on the next and back. Read the book and study before tests!! He is a nice guy though - not out to ruin your gpa.. just hang in there, and you'll do fine...
