Mr. hill won't give you homework for most of the 1st semester because of his stories and being off topic, then will give you 2 books and rootwords. Now for the 2nd semester, his website is no help and doesn't work and blames us for not doing it.

He did not teach the required material for French 1 and would often go off topic during class and talk about things irrelevant to French. I would transfer out if you have him for French.

He's an awesome teach with entertaining stories, but I am taking french to learn french. When I came to carlmont I expected to be learning french, not about diana ross and her importance to Mr.Hilol. He is SO disorganized it is extremely frustrated, He is not clear on what homework is assigned and when it is due. The tests are never on what he says they're on. He assigns WAY TOO much homework. I HOPE TO GOD I get Ms. Burton next year and that I don have him in AP Eng senior year.

Mr.hill is such a sweet and caring person I don't know how a student can't like him. He makes learning fun and he is hilarious. This man deserves teacher of the year award! :) he knows almost everything and his french teaching amazing you will never get bored in his class. He is just too adorable to even function.

Mr. Hill is probably the sweetest teacher I've ever met, although he may seem intimidating at first (he wants his students to be somewhat scared of him) he wants the best for all his students. Even if you might not speak often during class, he'll always make an effort to include you or connect with you in some way. His instructions aren't always understandable but if you ask NICELY for clarification he'll most likely go to the ends of the earth to help you out.

Perfect, I smile so much in class that I'm sure he thinks I'm in love with him. I am. It's true. I can't help it, his class is what might be called- the viable personification of perfection.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. The man has character, charisma, an amazing sense of humor, and he can always handle his classroom. He holds attention, personalizes his efforts, and loves literature.

Lots of random tangents, which are fun, but you may not feel prepared for the AP test. Great guy, but really hard grader. Always there to talk.
