One of the greatest teachers to ever be a part of the staff at Desert Mountain High school. His teaching style undoubtedly changed the way I thought about math forever. His courses could be somewhat challenging for the average math student, but his extremely intuitive teaching methods leave all students with a revamped understanding of mathematics and problem solving in general. I was in his Algebra II class 3 years ago yet I still reference his class when working through calculus problems.
I love Mr. Pantier! I struggled in his class but I can honestly say that its most likely because I did not try hard enough. Mr. Pantier is really smart and has great knowledge of math. But more importantly, he loves math and he loves teaching. If you're there to learn Mr. Pantier will do everything in his power to help you
I had him for two of my four years of math. He taught me Algebra 2 honors and Calc BC/IB Math HL. He does an amazing job explaining concepts in a way that students can understand and comprehend them. The tests are not very hard if you understand the math itself. He can be slightly intimidating and sometimes makes sarcastic jokes at his students' expense. He make math interesting and enjoyable. My only criticism would be that in the combo AP/IB class, much more emphasis is put on AP preparation.
Best math teacher I have ever had. Had him for Algebra 2 and he made it easier and fun. He hold you to high standards but it helps you be a better student. If you do up work and participate in class then he will like you! Best teacher at DMHS!
Mr. Pantier is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. I've had him for two years, and while I've never had to work so hard in a class, I have also never learned as much. He completely prepared me for the AP test and any classes I have to come.
BEST MATH TEACHER YOU WILL EVER HAVE......EVER!!!!!! I learned soooo much!! I had ms.kann the year before so it was great to have a real math teacher. He is hard so you have to do your work. He can be a hardass but I thoroughly enjoyed his class.
Pantier is the best math teacher at Desert Mountain and one of my favorite teachers. If you do you homework, participate in class, and seek additional help if you need it, then the class will be easy. Don't be late to class, don't sleep in class, and don't make excuses.
I took AB Calc with Pantier this year and was really nervous, but he was a great teacher. He really explained the difficult concepts and was available for extra help. As long as you are willing to focus in class, Pantier will be a great teacher. He was also a lot nicer than I thought he would be.
Best math teacher I've ever had! He's always really helpful and will patiently explain everything. He's also really enthusiastic about math. He has the magical ability of making math fun....ik wow!
He's a great math teacher. But he plays favorites like nobody's business. If you are an attractive girl, he will like you. It's not enough to just be good at math unfortunately. Also, he lets his temp
Mr. Pantier is an excellent teacher and is hand down my most favorite teacher. I've never had such a good math teacher as him. He explains everything fully and always made sure that I understood it al
I always felt like I was one of Pantier's least favorite students, so it shows something that I'm taking the time to write a great review of him! He is an AMAZING teacher and explains things perfectly
Pantier is just so full of himself! I just don't get it. Plain and simple - he's only nice to those who worship him and he makes things so miserable for those of us with legitimate questions. I person
good teacher intimidating at first but helpful and you really learn
He is a good teacher for alg 2 H. He seems intimidating at first, but he is just a little sarcastic. He does try to help you, but if you become annoying to him, he just stops listening to you.
Best teacher I had at dmhs hands down extremely helpful i truely understand calculus now hes the teacher i had that wanted most for the students to achieve and score a 5 on the ap test he really cares
mr. pantier is a great teacher to get for alg II H! he makes everything so much easier to understand. even though i don't have an A in his class, i still think he is a great math teacher
Now he is a hard math teacher. But by the time you exit his class you WILL understand math. You eaither love him or hate him. I enjoyed his class. 1st class i walked into at DMHS
Mr.Pantier is known to be the hardest math teacher in the school, but if you are good at math you will love him. He likes to check these ratings by the way... ;)
amazing alg II teacher! learned so much and he was really funny. also it's kinda funny when you think about it his obsession with math makes him a good math teacher.
Mr. Pantier is by far the best math teacher i have ever had. i learned so much from his Alg. II class and Calc BC class. you definately want him!
a bit moody and condescending. expects a lot from kids, which must be why he has such bad ratings. i learned a lot and he's very helpful. i felt very well-prepared for my AP test.
Can have his bad days, but overall is an awesome teacher
amazing teacher. always puts the annoying kids in their place.
Pantier is funny, but only cares about the few students he likes. Its second quarter and he still doesnt know a few people's names. Other than that, he's a good math teacher
He puts on green spiky hats, and is the coolest teacher ever.
Pantier is hilarious, but you have to pull him out of his serious authoritative mode, and make him have fun. Calc=hard. red vines/animal crackers=cool
Awesome teacher; always there for help; i'd love to have him again
Pantier is an awesome teacher. I hope i have him again.
Very good math teacher and a very cool guy. Very hard but fair class. I think I will be prepared for the AP test well.
Excellent at inspiring young math students. Does a very good job of fostering an excellent class room experience. Always available for help of any kind.
Pantier is a great teacher, class was what made school fun every day! And his birthday party, amazing!
he was very prejudiced in our class. he favored the boys alot more than the girls and he favored kids in sports. He was very childish as well.
