She told us in the beginning that she was trying toscare people off to make the class smaller :P I love this teacher even though she still makes me nervous.
By far, one of the best classes I have ever been enrolled in. The first month with her is the scariest thing, especially as a freshman, but after that first month... it is AWESOME
She wasn't a bad teacher, everyone says she is. She taught me a lot and had great stories.
She was O.K. Hr class was boring, and learning all the grammar was impossible to remember.
her class is very hard, but very worth it. i enjoyed having her as a teacher.
I had her in 1982 and I am a better writer because of it. While it may seem difficult, it will be worth it.
She is a little hard at first, but she does care, and tries to teach her students a lot more than just English. If you listen to her, you can learn quite a bit.
Helpful teacher who truly wants the best for her students. Cares a lot, and does her best to teach.
Last year, I would always try to remember how she had gotten to what she was talking about, and I could never retrace how she'd gotten there. She was so random!
I had her years ago. I use some of the stuff we learned, so I guess that is good.
I'm sad, she's stopped telling stories, they're interesting
All she talks about is her "yahcht" and her parents. Too many essays!
ghetto blasters rock! romeo and juliet on the boat ladder! some of my favorite moments in high school!
I have learned alot about writing. All we do is write!
Joy was and i'm sure still is an excellent role model for other teachers on how a class should be taught. She basically paved the way for my further education.
Hands down best teacher I've ever had. She knows so much, and keeps the class fun. Stories, class talks make it great. Most of all, very inspirational. :)
Ms. Iseli!! You are one of the best teachers I've ever had! Keep it up. And all of you that dont like her need to grow up and do your work!
