Mrs. Hardy was one of my favorite teachers in high school. She makes class engaging and fun, and really knows her stuff. I was definitely pushed by her instruction. Her constructive criticism on projects was on point, but her suggestions were always interesting and helped improve the overall product. A lot of students complain that she's too harsh of a grader, but you need to work in order to earn a good grade in the class. If you're looking for a great art teacher, Mrs. Hardy is amazing.
She insists you do it exactly the way she wants you to and is very harsh with deadlines. She has been know to say extremely offensive things without even realizing they are offensive (I've heard she asked a young muslim girl if she was joining ISIS after she graduated a few years back). Doesn't help students too much but seems like she wants to. I'm sure she means well but her teaching methods aren't for me or the many others I've talked to.
I really liked Ms. Hardy. I was in her drawing class and learned a lot. But you do need to work in her class, not an easy A. Exams are easy but deadlines can be harsh. She's kind to students and knows how to teach.
She's understanding, but does not do much. For most of my class she sat there.
sorry but baaad teacher. she knows what she's talking about but treats us likes we're supposed to be professional photographers
is kind of annoying and sometimes it seems like she doesn't know what she is talking about
This has been the first time my child has come home and actually hated a teacher. From what I've heard she is a very bad teacher.
Good teacher, helps a lot. Needs to be a bit easier with grading.
Very fun teacher. She makes photography very interesting and she helps you along with everything, making the class easy yet a good learning experience.
She wrote a letter of recommendation for me....she spelled my first and last name wrong...I didn't get that scholarship...THANKS A LOT!
Not an easy A, but worth it to be in her class! Patient, kind, and supportive, especially of people who are not confident in their art.
Mrs. Hardy changed my life. She found the undiscovered talent in me. I am now a 37 yr old artist in CA. I thank her for being a mentor and a friend.
well, what can i say...my lowest grade of the quarter was in designing with materials I.
DWM is the easiest class at the HS. I agree she can't teach art and her art isnt the best all the time but its easy. The dresses for DWM2 are just wierd.
horrible teacher! clueless, no respect for boundaries, and too many pet peeves
