need more Direction in discussion!makes sure we use to text to backup, but she doesn't always do that passive-aggressive. don't irritate her or ask her to repeat herself. loves Perrines and Angela Sun
[AP ENG] this class was a waste of time. she gives out so much more hwk than gates does. i'm so sick of dialectical/lit journals. she gives a bajillion of those. she's a really nice person though..
I had her freshman year for H English 9 and I really liked her class. She was really sweet, but not very helpful when it came to writing essays. Plus, that whole card-pulling deal was so nerve wracking.
She's really sweet. Unfortunately she doesn't inform students of small homework assignments except through blackboard. And I'm very attentive in class. If she said "there are going to be questions on such and such, check blackboard," I would write it down. And check blackboard...
She does not post assignments the night before. If you did not listen in class and then did not check Blackboard, it would seem that she did it the night before, but she did not. She is great and tries to help those from home (Blackboard). Don't complain. That is such a lame excuse.
She always gives clear directions and is a brilliant, helpful woman
Miss Teverbaugh is a wonderful and kind lady who truly seems to lover her job. She grades pretty easily, but what we discuss is really great and we really tackle the topics well.
I find her grading clear. She always gives us a rubric or tells us what she will be looking for before we write. It is still difficult, but I think I am learning a lot.
Cares a lot about literature and teaching it, expects us to care about it, too. Incredibly high standards, though, hard to tell what she wants in terms of grading, and it seems that her AP seniors like her a lot better than her college prep freshmen.
She was great. How could anyone say she had limited knowledge? If you don't respect her, she won't respect you. That might not be the best, but it works.
I like that the people who are always tardy are upset at her. She is wonderful. If she plays favorites for nice people, is that so bad?
treats us like we are in kindergarden very forgetfull on the very First day she thought our class was honors but we're not and scared us all
Boring projects, class discussions were terrible(students quoting spark notes trying to impress her), unclear what grade to expect, very nice, no favorites
extremely difficult, but pointless in learning. Very poor AP prep and few books
we did nothing at all! analysis was all superficial, projects were unhelpful
