Tips
-75% of the questions on the tests are on the practice test she gives, so memorize those and the diagrams .
-She doesn't lecture often, but when she does, its boring.
-The best part of her class is the dissection of a pig or cat.
-The labs (which is basically 45% of the ENTIRE grade) can be found online w/ answers if you search for their names.
Basically, while the class can be REALLY tough, just do the labs, read the chapters, and memorize the practice test and you'll be fine.

Mrs. GP is one heck of a character to say the least. Shes almost always out because of her family, spends class time jumping around and talking about dumb things. The only thing that's hard about her anatomy class are the tests and quizzes because it is a mostly self-study class. Shes very knowledgeable, but she never explains things so it only confuses students even more. Honestly, Anatomy with her is a waste of time.

She is a great teacher. Explains everything well, you will do fine in her test as long as you do the assignments and read the book. She makes herself available during lunch

I really don't see the point in taking her AP Biology class. Literally the same as self studying since all she does is tell you to read the textbook and give assignments. No lectures or anything at all. The labs rarely teach me anything and I have to be reliant on a book for knowledge. You don't teach a science class like that, especially AP Bio. The only time she teaches is 5 minutes before a test to give you enough knowledge to answer one problem. Do not take this class, even if you like bio.

I take her anatomy and ap biology classes. Not only is she never in class (due to personal reasons), but when she is in class you never get any work done and she will give you the worst labs to do as time fillers. She inserts grades in as late as possible and by the time she does actually put grades in, if you need to fix them, you are absolutely screwed. Biology is one of my best classes (95%+ in honors bio) and not only did i not do well in her class, i failed it with flying colors.

Had her for Anatomy and AP biology. I enjoy Anatomy so I guess that was why it was so easy. I saw upperclassmen struggling with the class though. She's changed in the last couple of years because I talked to some seniors taking her class and they say that it's hard and that she's a bad teacher.
AP bio was another story. Everyone was struggling and it dropped my GPA. But this is a good class if you want to gain experience. After taking this class I saw EVERY class as a joke. (except AP lit)

Worst science teacher in the department. Her famous quotes are,"you guys are college students now," "I don't have time/don't want to grade," and, "your first level bio class taught you this." How do you expect us to recollect knowlege we haven't applied in years? Youre crazy.
She rarely updates edline, which is a necessity for her class--after all, without it you have no way of knowing what your grade is. By the time she does update it, she's likely eaten, thrown away, or shredded your work.

Mrs. GP makes the class harder than it should be. She changes her mind in a second, there is little structure to class, and she chages deadlines on major assignments in a heartbeat.

She's an alright teacher, but her curriculums are so vague you have no idea how to prepare for her tests. When one student is talking in class, she decides to punish everyone the next day with a quiz. She isn't a mean or strict teacher, but she can get annoyed really easily. I don't mind her too much, but listening to what she says in class won't help you on the test at all. Your textbook has to be your bible in her classes or else you WILL fail.

we haven't really learned anything new so far, she's a nice person, but a bad person, i don't think that i'll take ap bio if she's teaching just because i don't think that she'll be able to prepare us enough for the exam, very unparticipatory class. also a very slow grader, especially compared to other teachers because she doesn't give out many assignments, and is constantly in and out of the class room

a nice person but isnt the best teacher in the world. I took anatomy and i think my textbook was a better teacher than she was. Tended to digress to irrelevant topics and i really dont know what we did in class other than watch something or go over useless facts.

Ms. GP is actually pretty cool, and she's a nice person. She knows a lot of science. And sometimes she can be funny. But the rest of the time, I am so confused. She never actually TEACHES; she just talks about stuff that will probably never be on the test, and gives us worksheets. About once a week we have a sub. The question of the year is: where does she go???

She's kinda nica and all, but every time she started talking I fell asleep... not that I understood anyways and she would always start explaining in the middle of a topic and then explain ramdomly so there was no consecutive order to anything... READ THE TEXTBOOK before she goes over it in class and your life will be a lot easier. Tests are always based on what you didn't learn or didn't even know existed.

I just don't get her!!!! She's so self-absorbed and incomprehensible. . . I don't think she realizes that she is suppose to teach the class. I also think she is unprepared for class, her lectures are really rants and her grading is erratic (and her aides told me they grade everything). SHE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!
