an actual good art teacher. with her, i retain info because the tests didn't make me memorize dates and unnecessary information and thus i actually cared. will scold you if you do something wrong but all you have to do is pay attention and DO IT RIGHT!!!! pretty chill class.
one of the better art teachers. she made art history somewhat enjoyable and managed studio classes well
love this woman. for the first time, I was actually tolerant of art history
Art is definitely different as an elective and you definitely need to keep up. She, for some reason, expects more out of you too so if you're taking art for a break, please don't.
Great teacher. She knows that students don't know everything so she doesn't make you memorize dates or anything. If you every need anything, just raise your hand and she will help.
Ms. Reifer is the best art teacher I've had at Hunter. She knows that for most of us it's so hard to remember each painting's name and date, so she does something different. We only have to recognize each work of art by artist. This is great because even though we have to "memorize" less information, we actually retain it.I still remember a lot of artwork from when I had her in tenth grade! If you pay attention in class her tests are extremely fair. She's always so nice and helpful and I lover her!!!
Ms. Reifer is the best art teacher I've had. She doesn't make us memorize dates and stuff, but rather understand each time period, with is so cool. She is super nice, understanding, and so lenient!!!
I wish she didn't turn off all the lights during powerpoints. I can't even see my own paper, and oh god do people fall asleep. And her voice is many kinds of monotonous. A good person, though.
Art history is boring, but it's a lot easier in her class, if you pay attention. And if you can actually sit quietly, she won't call you out. Even though you think you're being quiet when you're talking, Ms. Reifer is the only other person talking in the room, so it's normal for her to feel you're distracting the class. Art projects do take a lot of time, so you'll most likely stay behind to finish the work, but despite that, her tests are quite easy, and she is a very nice person.
she speaks to us as if we're kindergarteners! i don't even think she realizes. maybe she thinks she's being thorough.
ugh. i HATED her! she was soooo boring and yelled at certain people in the class when they made the slightest bit of noise while letting others talk loudly. She also allows no time to finish stuff in class so a lot of ppl end up spending lunch in the art room
shes nice but kinda bland and drawling- u wanna fall asleep.da class is easy tho.she lets u finish stuff like 10 weeks late @ open studio which rox since i can never finish anythin
This woman has taken it upon herself to make sure that every class gets out atleast 10 minutes late, especiall when it is right before lunch.
She's a pretty good teacher, and she's usually really nice. She just yells when everyone's talking and no one's really listening to what she's saying.
she... also scares me. Even if I draw well. And we did perspective today. that was stupid.
shes boring and weird with the class but alone shes really nice and helpful
she has tantrums, though she's nice one on one.
