Ms. Au is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She has carried me far and beyond in the math world, especially through math team.
The class itself is filled with quite advanced topics, and Ms. Au tends to extend many topics in the book for our enrichment. This was of great benefit to me, but may be daunting to others. Her tests tend to be quite difficult if you have not studied.
Thanks for everything! I miss you! :) Show More Show Less
06/18/14 - Ms. Au is one of my favorite teachers. I had her for Geometry and Trig BC. You have to get used to the way she teaches, though, because her style is a bit different from most people's. She gives you the grade she thinks you deserve. Show More Show Less
06/06/14 - I had Ms. Au for Trig BC. The class is very challenging, but Ms. Au is a fair grader in the sense that you will get the grade you deserve. I have an A now and I am glad to say I learned a lot and enjoyed the class. (PS she gets less intimidating!) Show More Show Less
02/19/13 - I love Ms. Au! I have never had such a great math teacher in my life. She knows her class is hard and she'll curve our tests and grades because of that. She is extremely funny and explains things extremely well. I've never had such a personable teacher before, and I'm really glad I'm in her class! Show More Show Less
08/02/12 - Ms. Au was my teacher for two years: Trig and PreCalc. She's honestly a sweetheart and I loved being able to go to her whenever I needed help after school. She really loves it when students take the initiative and go seek help when needed. She's a fair grader in the sense that she grades you based off the amount of work you put into the class. Overall, I loved Ms. Au. Show More Show Less
ms au's so cool. she often really understands how students feel about school, or anything in general, really. and sure, her tests might be really hard, but for most of her classes, you don't actually get that grade. she gives you the grade she thinks you deserve (how hard you try, pay attention, etc)
i often hear how it's easy to fall behind, but i mean, if you actually spent time after school, or after class--or even during--to ask her for help, she'll be glad to explain anything. Show More Show Less
