June Blackwell was my Algebra Teacher in 1994. Her class was the only class in four years of High School where I actually learned something. Her teaching was incredibly useful to me. I graduated Sanderson and later earned an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA. I now work for a mortgage company and use her lessons every day. She's the only teacher I ever had to teach me something important and useful. I hope my kids are lucky enough to have a teacher a teacher as gifted as she is

Although she teaches some very difficult classes, there is no doubt that you will learn what you need to learn in her classroom. She cares about her students and makes class hard so that she'll see them succeed.

June Blackwell is the worst math teacher I've ever had. She doesn't help the students who need it, she just tells them to ask someone else or calls them out. For the exam review she had us do the problems and if they were wrong she wouldn't explain why or how to do it. Maybe instead of singing and dancing about math, maybe we could actually learn something. Sad Teacher.

She is the most disorganized teacher I have ever had. She does not clearly explain things, is not fair in her grading, and creates an unnecessarily stressful environment for her students. She assigns pointless projects and a lot of busy work. The hardest thing about the class isn't the math, but how she runs her class (never tells anybody when things are due, has up to 4 tests in one week). She is extremely disrespectful to parents and students who are seeking help. Horrible.

Ms.Blackwell is the best teacher I've ever had! At first, you get frustrated with the spastic techniques she uses, but it actually helps you soo much!!

I LOVE HER! She's very quirky but it's really good. She answers questions but also thinks it's very important to her for students to learn some things by themselves so she sometimes answers in an roundabout way. She teaches in fun ways to keep students interested. Very sweet and very helpful with anything involving school or anything at all. I've never had a 98 in math before but in her class I did!

Mama Blackwell is great! She uses out of the box techniques to help students remember material and she is always willing to help! If you really want to be on her good side just wear butterflies :)

Mama B is so sweet! She is very smart and truly cares about her students; however, she has a peculiar teaching style. She loves using songs and unusual projects to teach. This is met with polarized reactions by students- some hate it, some love it. It takes a lot of work to get her to answer a question, if she answers it at all. She will do anything to help you succeed, but she challenges her students. Everyone in my class received college credit on the AP exam with most receiving all 5s.

Ms. Blackwell knows a lot about math. But she does not do a good job teaching so that the students can understand, instead choosing to sing songs and assign projects. overall, quite incompetent.

She likes you if you do your work. She teaches quickly with minimal clarification. She treats students as though they were in a college math course and lets them teach themselves a lot. She is goofy.

Hilarious class, exceptionally funny person. However when understanding concepts, read the textbook. Her humor gets in the way of teaching, a problem when it's a matter of undersstanding or failing.

Bad teacher. Discourages asking questions, and refuses to help an individual with a problem. Near the top of the list of the most annoying teachers I've ever had.

She has no patience for you if you fall even a little bit behind. You either get it or you don't ... and most don't, because she makes the mistake of assuming.
