Yep, she's definitely that hardest 601 teacher, but you definitely want her. Her students always do the best on the final and the midyear. Really nice person except when she kicks her desk really hard. Gets super awkward when she makes a mistake. Her brownies are horrible and overhyped. But good teacher.

You definitely lucked out if you got Ms. Kinel as a teacher for 601 Honors math. At first, she seems more challenging than the other teachers (which may be true), however, this will benefit you in the long run. The 601 curriculum has gotten easier in recent years, so if you do your HW and pay attention in class, you will do just fine. She knows a lot so don't be afraid to ask questions, her answers are always helpful!

She's really smart, if you get 601 Honors math, you're lucky. Yes, sometimes the class is hard, but at least she knows how to teach. You should look forward to her brownies. If you take good notes, and pay attention in class, you'll get through just fine. Remember, don't fall asleep in her class!

I had math 601 as a Freshman. Ms. Kinel knows exactly what she's doing and what she's teaching. Her policies are made to scare you in the beginning, but she doesn't actually follow any of them. After a month, she doesn't care if you do the homework or not. She gives no quizzes in the entire year, only tests. She takes forever to grade the only graded assignment--tests. Her tests really hard; study lots, then study more, though you're still not ready. Prepare for amazing brownies!
