i got caught skipping during lunch and was assigned 2 detentions. i missed one of them and she didn't care. she took it off my permanent record (i don't know if that really means much)..that was cool of her but at the same time she's waaayyy too tough when it comes to other aspects..
She has a great love for the performing arts. Too bad she's retiring! We'll miss you, Mrs. Lacey!
you just have to talk with her about what she likes and she is suddenly so much more reasonable
During my time at Oakton, I found that Karen Lacey's dedication to the arts was unsurpassed- she is a truly classy lady with her priorities in the right place.
Had a few run-ins back in the day, 92-96, and she seemed to know the difference between major and minor junk, which is good.
Well, she ain't very nice to very many students,I have found her to be unreasonable. She gave 11 people in my English class detention for being late once.
she means well- does not listen to students or try to see through their perspective. 1 word to describe her: unreasonable (unless in music or drama)
