She's a pretty nice lady, she just really can't teach. Last year, I had a solid A and every year before, I've always had high grades. This was the first year I had a low B, I really struggled even with retaking her quizzes. I really hate her grading policy about only counting quizzes and tests in the gradebook. What about the homework I finish every single night?! She isn't a good teacher overall. Also make sure to print your own notes out from her web page- she doesn't provide them for you.
She seems like a nice lady. But she needs to learn how to walk so she doesn't trip over backpacks.
She actually is not a bad lady. People hate all math teachers because math is hard. She is a bit dry but it's kids not doing what they are asked that is the problem.
I am in my 5th semester with Mrs. Kaschalk going on to my 6th. Only one year of my high school career was Kaschalk free and that year was the best one. The one and only thing I've learned from Mrs. Kaschalk is how to teach myself. This is mostly due to the fact that she is incapable of teaching her class. If I her the word persevere from her one more time I'm going to snap, so just give me my stamp and leave me alone... Please
She has minimum knowledge about math. As a student who has had her for Algebra 2 and Pre-Calc, I've concluded that she does NOT know how to teach. I cant count how many times she has done a problem incorrectly while teaching. When asked a question, instead of provided the right insight to aid the student, she simply responds with another question that confuses the student further. Not to mention how she uses stamps to check in homework. Stamps. She teaches highschool math, not kindergarten. #mad
I don't drive to school with a seatbelt on anymore because of her
She is by far one of the worst math teachers at Stoney. She answers all questions asked with another question and when we don't get it she tells us to go back to our desks and look at our notes and in the book. Not to mention she now no longer shows the answers to the hw in class anymore, and whenever the class does bad on a test "we should have studied more." What kind of teacher does this! Most math teachers at Stoney are good, not this one, switch out if you get her or she'll ruin your gpa.
She's absolutely awful. Doesn't know any math, yet somehow is a teacher. She always makes mistakes and can't find them when she gets the wrong answer. Doesn't explain anything well.
just awful i'd sooner understand 8 Mexicans break dancing at a bus stop before i understand her version of math
She's really annoying, can't deal with her
She is nice but she has no idea what she is doing... she does not know what she is teaching. just read the book, listening in class will just make you more confused.
She does not know the material well enough to be teaching the class, let alone to be teaching an honors class. She deflects questions she does not understand and changes the subject.
Not in command of the material. Repeated makes mistakes while teaching. Inconsistent in communication and policy. Openly blames students for her deficiencies. Instruction like this can negatively
Not a very helpful teacher. Makes a lot of mistakes daily...should NOT be teaching an honors class, she has no idea what shes doing
One of the most awful teachers Stoney Creek has to offer. Her teaching style is uninteresting and she is very monotone. Im suprised she was hired.
Mrs. Kaschalk is such a sweetheart. Maybe sometimes she's not the best teacher but she is a very nice person to everyone!
her, ms b, and ms loveland r the best math teachers!
I think Mrs. Kaschalk is a very understandable person, she never yells at her students, and she's a generous person. I suggest any future students that are taking math, to have her as your teacher.
Incompetent when it comes to mathematics. Regularly completed problems incorrectly and gave incorrect examples. Spent three days trying to do a single transformation because she didn't know how.
EVIL, EVIL, EVIL!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO GLAD I ONLY HAD HER 1 SEMESTER! SHE HAS NO CLUE WHAT SO EVER ON HOW TO TEACH A CLASS.
