Alright, when I found out I had her I was so scare; everyone said bad things about her. I don't know if it's just my class, but that is not the case at all. She is such a nice lady, I've never heard her yell and her assignments are appropriate for 12th graders. She isn't some pushover that knows nothing about what she teacher, you actually learn from her! As long as you listen and do your work, you're good. Note that I'm in Honors English, not AP. I think the AP kids have it way worse.
I can honestly say she is the worst teacher I have ever had. Her directions are unclear and half the time she doesnt know what she is talking about. No wonder she is so highly disreguarded by not only the students but the staff as well.
Ms. Hamill was the best english teacher I had. Im actually in the middle of writing a paper about her class and how it changed me for the better. I googled her and came across this and had to write so
A very intelligent teacher with a lot of passion for what she teaches. She gets a bad rap for being a bit strict and having high expectations, but I learned so much from her. One of my fave teachers!
where do i begin, not worth the AP credit. An emotionlly draining class.
One of the stupidest people i have ever met. I learned nothing from her but blatant misinformation and how not to do things. I pity all AP English students at CHS who have her.
Seemed like you learn a lot, until you actually get to college... Then you realize, everything you learned in her class was complete BS!
Spends more time insisting on the importance of what she is going to teach than actually teaching it. Has a very paternalistic attitude towards her students.
Ms. Hamill is awesome both in and out of the classroom. She brings her love of English into the classroom and it is quite contagious. She is super helpful! A+
An Awesome Teacher, has a bad reputation that she doesn't deserve. Extremely easy to approach and is more than welcome to give advice and any kind of help!
Although at first it seems as if she may be the worst teacher in the world, in fact she will teach you a lot!
Absolutely rigid structure; churn out each paragraph with the Hamill generator and re-process the mixture of mangled ideas to get good grades
Learn to write a McEssay, and you're fine. She prepares you well for AP's though. She's a good teacher, just very disagreeable.
