I put 5 stars for Ms. Belt's foresight and wisdom because here I am, more than a decade later, typing at high speed and very thankful for it. The endless typing lessons and terrapin logo in 6th grade turned out to be one of the best investments I could have asked for.
She gives you an assignment and then you do it and after you do it, she explains it. You realize you did something wrong that she just explained and end up doing the entire thing over again! At least, that's what happened to us 8th graders two years ago. You sixth graders should be glad you don't have her. I'm not sure how good the new computer science teacher is though.
she is okay. i hate CTS but i liked her. she did not prepare us for 7th grade. MR. street is sooooo hard. he is better. but belt was weird
Ms. Belt is pretty nice but she can talk too much so we don't have much time. We did not learn a lot because she didn't really know the stuff.
Everything here is correct, except for the people who gave smileys. She does/is all of these things: Mutters her password; puts password in username box; is guilty of inconsistent grading; is guilty of EXTREME favoritism; is guilty of not knowing true basic; gives you candy even if she hates you. I once used a 2D array in TB, instead of 4 variables. She gave me a zero, saying that I can't 'make stuff up and expect that it will work'. She has apparently never heard of an array. And many other things.
She is a very kind teacher, but sometimes she can give a lot of homework, she also sometimes gives test on materials that were not in the book that we were asked to study.
I am her teacher's pet. She is nice to me. She is very helpful.
when i asked her where do i put my flash drive, she says oh ill show you and then opens up the cdrom drive and says oh look it is flashing!
She's nice, and oddly uneducated. My advice: Instead of listening, use the time to play pinball (make a shortcut to C:/ in your partition. It's under Win 2000 in Program Files.)
Good teacher oh ya all you other people are super worng worng worng she is nice (p.s. it is so an eye sore my computers are less eye sore and alot faster
she DOESN'T teach you anything i think i learned.....let me count.....*mutters one..two..three..* NOTHING
I think we all agree that she can't teach. Period. The advice I give her current students (poor souls): get extra sleep in her class. Utterly useless teacher!
She is such unfair teacher. Her grade is inconsist among students. One time she embrassed me in front of whole class. She is not ualify to teach computer.
I had her last year. I did not do a single thing in the class and i still got an a every quarter. All i did is said i did it and she didn't care.
Her's was the most boring class in all of middle school. Of all the classes I remember being bored in, this one takes the cake, even if itwas 5 years ago.
i had her in 01 and she took othas ppls a's n gave them to me, by accident i hope
Doesn't know much about computers... kind of bad because she's a computer science teacher!
her class was so easy an we did nothing. but it was still fun
BOOOOORING. lost my work. No memory. not observant AT ALL
And I quote Well, I was going to give you those extra points, but you don't need them. Darn, I could have gotten a 120% instead of a 110%.
She does nto know how to teach class. She really needs to take some lessons.
on the first day of 8th grade i was asked to think of the worst teacher ever. guess who i thought of? yeah, this one.
Lot's of people don't like her. Class is rather boring, and she's not good at explaining, but shes really nice.
she's ok, but when you ask her something, she goes on and on about other topics.
she definately tries. its just that she is way too absent-minded. and shes teaching typing when she can't even type. one should know their own course
She tried, she really did, but she's simply clueless.
