I just graduated from Hamilton, and by far Mrs. Royal's class was my favorite. She is so upbeat, organized, helpful, funny, and real with her students. She definitely asks a lot from her students, but any good teacher should. Her expectations were clear and consistent, and although the work and exams were often difficult I felt her class prepared me very well for college and the AP test (I passed with a 4). Thank you Mrs. Royal!
I just graduated and wanted to say thank you to Mrs. Royal for being the best math teacher I had in high school. I learned so much more than just math and I know I am prepared for college thanks to her.
Mrs. Royal is one of the best math teachers I have had in high school. She pushes her students to do their best. She is always available and answers everyone's questions.
Mrs. Royal knows what she's doing in many aspects- from school curriculum to class discussions. She is consistent and reasonable in her teaching. Very organized and on top of things. Overall a great teacher
She sometimes can be nice, but usually she's a jerk. She gets off topic a lot, and she LOVES to brag about herself. She's really arrogant, and she seems to believe that she's QUEEN of the universe, and her students are her impoverished subjects. In short, she thinks she's ROYAL. Overall, she could be a good teacher, but she first needs to get off her high horse and learn to control her temper.
Her classes were singlehandedly the sources of some of the worst experiences I have had in high school. I am a good student, but her expectations change so frequently that it becomes impossible to know what she wants from you - making a good grade difficult to achieve. Many fail her exams, yet she refuses to adjust her lessons. She desperately needs a wakeup call...which I hope can also teach her that being rude to students doesn't help anything.
She is About to be in big trouble. Hopefully she will be fired for her actions of unfair treatment of students.
This is a teacher who goes above and beyond. She expects alot from her students, but is available always. No doubt if you're not doing well in her class, it is because you're not taking advantage of the opportunities ~
Teaches WAY too fast & NEVER cares about slower math students and has no problems failing them if they can't get through the work as fast as others...these are students who are trying hard and get help outside of class, so not kids who don't care. Failing good students who try hard should NOT be allowed by her or anyone else!!! Students who have gotten A's up until her class??? Bad reflection of the teacher for sure!!!
Doesn't care one bit about students. If you have a high ratio of kids who get D's and F's in class and on exams...something is wrong with the teacher in most cases. People don't take this level class if they don't care or won't try. Extremely rude!
Class was alot of fun. Students complain, but it's usually those not doing everything their suppose to,
She is always available to help her students. She give very clear and specific notes. She's tough, but you will learn so much in her class. I would not have done as well in college if it had not been for Mrs. Royal.
Very funny teacher and actually very dedicated to teaching and helping her students out. Doesnt take anyone's bs. Only problem with her is that she talks way too fast.
She is great really, little fast paste, but i love it. i really learned a lot from her. im right now in college and let me tell you im doing great. Just let me tell you guys she is greatest math teac
Nice but unreliable. Grades fluctuate too much in that class and she barely knows what she's talking about.
Seems intimidating but if you know her you'll love her. She'll always answer any questions. The only thing i didnt like was that some of the Qs on the 5q werent included in the hw so i got them wrong.
Honestly, she teaches more than math.Stern but loving.
