Ms. Hazlett is a very nice person, but she wasn't a very good teacher. She was retiring at the end of the year I had her for spanish, so she really didn't care at all about teaching. My friend and I literally ended up teaching the class ourselves because she would give us work sheets without explaining them and say "due tomorrow". All she did all hour was sit at her desk, drink tons of pop, read spanish and french romance novels, and blush everytime Aaron Daugherty poked his head in the door.
Doesn't help, and yells at other students if they try to help.
I took Spanish all four years and I learned a lot. I'll give her props because she tries but you'd be better off taking French with Mrs. Keating.
complains about job, disorganized, strict and POINTLESS rules (can you say power hungry), sips the pop, and gets annoyed too easily.
Kinda tough and sometimes easily flustered, but likes a good time, and is overall a good teacher.
Overall she was a good teacher. I learned alot and enjoyed seeing her when we weren't in class... she did seem grumpy alot though
Power Hungery, but you will learn alot. Has a few annoying rules. Third and fourth year you can backtalk her, which is fun.
haz is a pretty cool gal...a bit strict on exams, tests, etc, but i learned a lot and can still remember quite a bit, and it was entertaining at times
She's ok. I've learned a lot, so I guess that's all that matters...right?
The tests have stuff on them that we either never had or barely had before and she hardly speaks Spanish to us like it is on the test.
You learn some stuff but makes class long and boring
