Mrs. Kapp is a very nice woman but her organization is terrible, I'm 2 weeks from graduating and she expects a research paper and an entire books to be read, I've learned more from a sub than from her
the thing is she is actually a really great person. she's one of those old people who wants to pass on her wisdom and blah blah blah. the problem is, as a teacher, she tends to forget that we cannot read her mind and that her class is not the only class we have. she's been making efforts to become more organized, which is a plus. sometimes a absolutely love her and sometimes i hate her so much i want to slap her in the face.
its like an entire school day within her class! thers GRAMMAR, and the make a difference project towards the second half of the year, essays to write, ALWAYS a book to read, other projects.. someone as disorganised as her should absolutely not be in charge of covering so much stuff. and she should actually look at one of the many jinglie and distracting watches on her wrist once in a while and at least try to keep track of time. oh and try to stay on her good side.
I think that Mrs.Kapp is a great person. She is very understanding about making up missed work, as long as it's on your own time. Her only flaws are that she is very disorganized and she has no sense of time. She covers the material in a creative way and always trys new ways to keep the entire class interested.
She definitely has potential to be a good teacher. She just talks so painfully slowly that we never have time to get anything done because she doesn't keep track of time. She's also so disorganized.she gave one class their essays back a day late,so that one class had a three day weekend to do what other classes only had a night to do. She seems to believe she's the only teacher telling us to take "ten minutes a day out of our busy schedule" to do her work, and doesn't realize that we have other classes too.
Mrs. Kapp is a lot smarter that she seems. she is a wonderful teacher if you let her be. you need to do your work and pay attention in class. she expexts a lot from her students because she knows what they are capable of. when i got my scedual and saw her name on it i was a little freaked out because of what i heard from everyone else. she turned out to be the one of the best teachers i had in highschool. she prepared me for college and i thank her for that. she made my senior year worth someting.
kapp thinks that english is our only subject...she does way to much at once and thinks we can keep up with he disorganized/scaterbrained methed of teaching...well we cant!
She is weird and so disorganized. She is easy to get off topic, and at the same time hard to get information from her. She needs a lesson in time management and organization.
Mrs. Kapp is a lot smarter than she seems at first. She's such a change from hickman that kids are thrown off in the beginning by her style, but she knows her stuff and actually gives specific criticism to your essays. However, a lot of the work is pointless, boring, uninteresting, and there is too much in one day. She's kind and scholarly, but needs to stop lecturing us on life and then expecting us to do all the work and actually work with us
Mrs Kapp is a little weird and expects alot out of you. For example find a sentence in a 300 page book when giving us no clue even what chapter its in.
Mrs. Kapp is a genuinely good person, available for extra help, and truly cares about her students. There is a lot of work in her class, but she gives lots of help & xtra credit
she talks way too slow, treats us like 5 year olds, and is doing dumb lessons and activities.
she is confusing at times, with a heavy workload, and disorganized, but she is really nice, and you can tell she loves what she does-when in doubt connect2HP :)
Come on everyone just give her a break she is a nice person and she does really try unlike some of the other teachers here!
I thought I'd never have to see Mrs. Kapp again after my horrible year for 10th grade honors english. She was confusing and spaztic and misplaced a lot of things
Mrs. Kapp is nice-but she gives A LOT of work-and we do 50 diff. things at once- and always run out of time.
She is nice, but so unorganized, half of the time i didn't even know what we were learning about.
Bla. not a good class. Takes forever to grade. kinda nice but plays favorites. She knows from the start if u will get an A or not....
A genuinely nice person but unfortunatley not a very good teacher... She seems to try hard but it is all just too scattered and unclear.
Oh please, worst year of my life being in her class.
for 10th grade, take the academic class; you'll learn more and have an easier time. Mrs. Kapp is a nice person, but her lessons are eratic and unhelpful.
very bad teacher! shes scary and puts you on the spot when she knows you don't know the answer!! and extremely confusing!!!!!!
Many students have called this class a vaction between Hickman and Byrne.
I have Mrs. Kapp, I think that she is hard and that she should lighten the work load. She can also be cool at times, like when she lets you do homework in class
I Did'nt appreciate you until this year when I don't have you.. we had some good times in that class. Just try to be more organized and explain better
she is awful about holding grudges (she didnt like my brother, so she never even gave me a chance; she would change my score when she saw my name on the paper
She does not understand how to teach. She should be avoided because she is not organized and prepared enough to be given a class to teach.
A nice person, but scatterbrained beyond belief. She tends to throw projects and tests all together at once and a lot of the time she's confusing.
