I had Mrs. Keath for 9th grade honors English. Although she is a tough teacher, she is extremely knowledgable, and I believe that learning grammar in her class is the reason I did so well on the ACT English section several years later. She gives a lot of homework, but her class is a good transition into AP classes that many students take in the later years of high school.
Cathy Keath is the pinnacle of the meanest teachers in Cedar Crest. As you can see from the other ratings below, Cathy Keath was never a popular teacher. Even 6 years have gone by, but nothing has ever changed. She will always be remembered as my worst teacher and ruined 9th grade year for me. Her tests are ridiculous and never answers a single question in class. She judges everyone and shouts/points out the one kid who didn't do their homework and/or test grades. (yeah she's that teacher).
No. She does know what she is talking about, but she needs to relay this information better especially about grammar and sentence structure. She gives WAY too much homework. Most nights I have about five homework assignments just for her class. She really needs to stop being so sarcastic and actually give us answers when we ask a question. I am just hoping that I will never get her as a teacher again and I hope my sister never gets her.
meanest woman in the entire world, not sure how she even has a job still. she is cruel to everyone, assigns insane things, doesn't answer questions, and super judgemental. she locked me outside of her classroom - three times. and since i was locked out i was late because she didn't open the door, even though i stood there knocking and she turned and looked at me. then she said it was my fault and she wrote me up for being late to class because i "goofed off in the hallway"
she is one of the meanest teachers i have ever had. you have to really pay attention to get what she says, even then you might not get it>
