She's good at what she does but she has a big head. Not as good as she thinks. She plays favorites hard core. I came in sophomore year, and to this day she didn't learn my name. She neglected our choir because she was focused on tour and then blamed us for sounding bad. Wouldn't recommend
i came in to join choir last year as a freshman and the best choice i made to to drop it.. if you do anything but choir i suggest dropping it because choir is not your life so you might as well not even join
Talented. Smart. Does an amazing job with the program. But as a person.. as a mentor.. she plays favorites so if you want solos or to be part of show choir or anything else and she doesn't like you... Save yourself the trouble and go join band.
She is my favorite teacher ever. Yes, she takes choir seriously, but that's. What she loves to do. And she loves to influence these kids in a positive way by encouraging them to do what they love most. I just wish everyone could see that side of her. Yes, she also has favorites, but who doesn't?
Ms. Owens is the best choir director that I've ever had. Such an amazing teacher and person!
Ms. Owens is a wonderful director with great talent. She definitely has favorites, but I have thoroughly enjoyed singing in her choirs. I feel honored to have her as my director.
I love Ms Owens! She does play favorites a bit though, which is annoying.
Ms. Owens is a sweet lady. She has done pretty well following in the steps of Mr. Jordan, which is no easy task. She has her favorites of course, but so do most EC teachers.
Annoying. Needs to realize that choir isn't that important. Needs to say something positive. Don't spaz out!
