He's not the best teacher. All we do in class is do the DoNow for about 30 minutes and then work on some worksheet that he eventually assigned for homework. He takes SO LONG to grade things and he always yells at us to be responsible, but the office calls him EVERYDAY for him to bring the attendance folder down. It's really annoying because he never actually teaches, he only gives us things to read and then expect us to do it. If that's all you have to do, I could be a teacher as well.
He does NOT take enough time and effort to stay on task and grade papers in due time! Mr. Austin expects us to be ontop of our grades , yet he likes to go on his computer and go on natoinal geograohic or do some survays online while he could be grading tests, or helping students with questions! And also If you wouuldnt mind preparing us for your tests that would be great Mr. Austin. I have never had a low grade in a language class before, take the PPAS online language course! Before its too late
At first, I dreaded Mr. Austin's class. I barely knew Spanish coming in and when I asked him a question he'd say, "thats easy, thats obvious, etc.," without answering the question. He's not very helpful, but I realized, if you just try your hardest, he'll be more open to helping you. He knows what he's doing, but he just needs to establish a better relationship with students.
I suppose you appreciate things when you've surpassed them in life. Mr. Austin is my dude, the only Spanish teacher I had with a West Indian accent. Love(d) this man, he's cool.
i do not like this man one bit...he makes me so upset...and he really needs to learn how to be fun and to smile
