I love Ms. Jakhsen. I have her 2 years in a row and she's one of the best Math teachers I've ever known. She is knowledgeable and she is kind. I can see why people feel bored in her class but honestly, she is one of my favorite teachers.

Ms. Jakhsen knows her stuff and so she assumes you know it all too. I had her for Algebra II my Freshman year of high school and she refused to explain anything in detail and required the Freshmen to come to her class every Lancer Time. She loves blackboard and thinks that students check her pages every second of the day. Just make sure you're ready to google all of your lessons and teach yourself before you take her class. She's not a bad person, she just doesn't know how to teach.

she is very well versed in the world of math. However, she does not quite understand that students are just not on her level. She treats us as if we were adults, which is good for preparation, but if you start off with the difficult concepts its very hard to get a good base foundation for math. She is also not understanding at all, for online quizzes if you have a tecnical difficulty she won't let u redo it or anything, and my friends house was on fire but she didnt except the excuse.

Most likely the worst Mathematics teacher I've ever had. She doesn't really teach well and expects you to be notified about everything that she "posts" or does not clearly state. Try to avoid as soon as possible

Very poor and, I think, probably a bit lazy. If you solve a problem accurately, but not the way she expects, she may not recognize that you were actually right. Parents often have to do the bulk of the teaching--Ms. Jakshen often won't.

Ms. Jakhsen is unclear and unhelpful. She has an imperial attitude in class. She is quite prescriptive in the specific way she wants math problems solved--which is fundamentally inconsistent with math. Absolutely awful.

She was the worst math teacher I ever got next to Ms. Elsener. She's unclear and over-complicates things when she teaches. She has a bad temper and overall, can't teach very well.

Has to be the worst teacher at Lee. Accused me of cheating once, and took nearly a month for her to fix my grade. Even my dad got involved with this incident and yet it took her a while to realize.

She means well but yes the class can get kinda hard. But what students don't know is that inorder to learn you have to be willing to learn. You can't Xpect her to teach everything, you have try urself
