She is the worst teacher I have ever had. She has a terrible attitude towards her students and when you ask her questions she either answers sarcastically or ridicules you in front of the entire class. She treats students disrespectfully and targets those who she does not prefer. Along with all of that, she has a terrible way of teaching as she expects students to know concepts that were never taught. I definitely do not recommend taking her class.
Ms. Williams-Korbel probably has the worst attitude towards teaching that I have ever seen. She acts as though we are there to learn from her instead of her being there to teach us. When you ask a question, you will only get a sarcastic answer. If you try to talk to her after class, she will get angry at you for it not being office hours. I have done bad on both midterms and never went in to make it up because I hated the negative energy that comes from being in her class.
She was very rude to me because I am a shy person and did not speak loud enough for her. She does not give very good directions in my opinion. If you think you can handle this her class is manageable, but I highly do not recommend.
You do NOT want Korbel. She assigns about as much homework as you'd expect from an honors class, but all her directions are very vague, and she will NEVER explain anything a second time; only responding in a condescending monotone manner. Taking a zero is better than talking to her or asking questions. Her sense of humor makes me understand why she never made it in comedy, and her overall personality scares me. If you get Korbel, transfer out ASAP!
I took Mrs. Williams-Korbel for Honors English in 10th grade. Her coursework was exactly what I expected from an honors class, and was fairly interesting, as well. Her personality, however, was AWFUL. She would act really bubbly and happy once or twice a week, but the majority of the time was very sarcastic and condescending. I felt extremely uncomfortable asking questions regarding her occasionally-confusing directions. She has annoying/embarrassing catch-phrases, and NO TALKING to your friends
She's super mean. She tries to act like a fun teacher but she's actually sarcastic and never answers a question without adding "I already told you" or "it was in the directions". Sometimes people can't hear you with that flipping annoying, judgemental, monotone voice of yours! At least Holt is nice and is willing to answer a simple question without judging you. I can't believe she considers herself as a "fun loving teacher"
While Ms. Williams suffices as a teacher, she has one of the worst personalities I've ever met in my life. I haven't seen this teacher smile since the first day of school, let alone show any kindness or compassion to her students. I feel as though Ms. Williams is the kind of person to throw pity-parties for herself and dwell on her "hard life." It's gotten to the point where I would rather accept a low grade or zero on something instead of asking for help or if I can still turn it in.
Honestly Ms. Williams Korbel legitimately scares me. She's one of those people where I feel like I could never ever ever ask for help or talk to and she's really mean just to top it all off. And when you don't do an assignment she starts to interrogate you and if you say "I just didn't do it" that's apparently a completely fake excuse and there always has to be a reason for not doing something, like she doesn't realize every once in a while teenagers just don't do things.
Anyone who complains about her class, should go to Mrs. Holt's class. Ms. Williams-Korbel actually explains most of the stuff, helps you on major points in the stuff we are going over, and reviews. I had her first semester and she is a million times better than Holt.
she's so rude! Never ask her a question without expecting a rude answer. One of my least favorite teachers ever
to give an idea of what kind of teacher she is, we cheer when we have a sub
I like her but I think she should be more leniant about answering questions. I feel like it's better to fail something in her class than ask her a question because she gets so nasty when someone is confused. She's funny in a really weird way but I feel like she doesn't guide her students enough.
She's ok. I'm still jealous that I didn't get Koroshec but hey it wasn't that bad. Everything was a cakewalk, workload was managable, and the group projects were fun. Dont make fun of her she's pretty sensitive and has good hearing. She'll like you a little more if you play WoW.
At first, I didn't like her. By the end of the semester, I truly appreciated her teaching! She helped me with my writing skills so much. She has an odd sense of humor, but get over it. You learn so much from her!
I had her my sophmore year for honors english and was not too crazy about her. When I had her again my senior year for SciFi and Relevancy, I loved it. She made the subjects really interesting and fun to learn about. She was much more laid back and funny. So I loved it.
She's eccentric but teaches well and everything makes sense. She knows how to explain english and actually teach it to you. Some students complain about her personality but once you understand her humor, she's pretty awesome.
she's nice and a super good teacher, but her sarcasm REALLY bugs me. but overall she's pretty cool and when kids in my class make dirty jokes, she just laughs. it's pretty funny. i hate how we have to do so many stupid group projects though.
ms williams is really nice but she is kinda weird. i think she tries to hard to be buddy-buddy with her students and it doesnt really work. her class is an easy a if you do the homework. shes just..interesting?
Ms. Williams is a really nice teacher and gets the job done. She doesn't put up with nonsense during work times but she is very cool.
