Mr. D is controlling and difficult to get along with. He tends to pick favorites and makes life generally miserable for those who aren't one of his favorites. He is a good conductor, though.

Mr. D is one of the best teachers I ever had! He has high expectations of his students. He made an unbelievable difference in my life and I will always be grateful.

Had him for musical and full orchestra, call him Ken to get under his skin. When he was doing musical my SR year, one of the teachers accidentally called him Dr. Dockray, and he played it off like he had his PhD.
