I never had him as a teacher he was my cross country coach. "Ken Kerr, Ken Kerr, Ken Kerr, Ken. He's a mathematician. He lives in a great big cave and his partner's name is Dave."
While you won't get him as a teacher anymore (technically retired) he subbed for our class while our teacher was on maternity leave and it was awesome. What a G. At first I almost couldn't understand what he was saying but it's just because he thinks through things a little differently, and honestly it's not a bad thing once you get used to it. Really cared about seeing that you understand what the heck you were doing before calculating, which is so important. Thanks Mr. Kerr!!!
He is hard to understand sometimes but is an overall good teacher. He is fair and will give you the grade you deserve. Plus, he doesn't notice much so you can sleep in his class! Hahaha. Every now and then he has a strange way to explain problems but that's about it!
Very good teacher! fun, funny, and good at what he does. never fails to make the class laugh, and im pretty sure we're all doing fine as far as grades go
I have him for topics and he's the reason I like math. Take topics with him if you have the chance. He's a good natured person and the class is interesting and laid back.
He has a different way of teaching but if you put your seat belt on by the end of the ride you will know the material like the back of your hand
Very good teacher. One of the best old fashioned math teachers still @ GBS. Just pay attention and you'll be fine.
he looks like santa....crabby teacher...but sumtimes nice
Man did we throw this freesby around in your Advance Topics. We'll miss you. Class of '04.
i really appreciated the way he taught calc. very conceptual. not just memorizing formulae. prepared me well for the AP. awesome guy to boot.
Cool guy, not very good at verbalizing his thoughts in a way in which his students could understand. Do you homework well and complete and ask questions.
