His teaching style is not so great teaches you like one or two days before a test great guy but don't recommended
Hands down the greatest teacher I've had. He teaches very well, and his tests are easy. Anyone who gets Mr. Blumberg is very lucky and should be thankful. There are a lot of haters out there, but I strongly recommend you stay in his class and don't switch out.
In his class you're just doing text work and he teaches a like once a week. Had a lot of fun. Tests are easy.
Best Teacher at South! Highly recommended for the best chemistry experience you'll have in high school!
blum is a pretty funny dude and has decent knowledge in chemistry but the issue is that he doesnt really know how to teach his knowledge to his students. the materials he teaches in class often follows no order and the stuff he gives out as practice is nowhere near as hard as his tests. If you want to do well in his class, ASK QUESTIONS. DONT SIT THERE AND JUST LISTEN IN CLASS AND EXPECT AN A. THIS ISNT POSSIBLE.
Lets just say the average is consistently 70s but he a lil dont care so good luck buddy roflmao
Different kind of teaching
He goes really fast, but if you catch on with his wave then you'll be fine. If you don't then you're kinda done. Thus, you shall make sure that you know everything.
Uh yeah Mr. Blumberg is a really nice guy but the worst teacher I've ever had for Honors. I don't know HOW he became qualified to teach honors, but...actually, he shouldn't be teaching high school chemistry at all. He makes no sense most of the time and really the only thing that will keep you from completely hating him is his jokes sometimes. But most of the time they're annoying too. If you don't teach yourself, you might even fail the regents
Chemistry with Blumberg was my favorite class. He is really funny and pokes fun at a lot of his students (don't take it personally if this is you!). Let's face it, chemistry is rather difficult and tedious. If you're having trouble, go to extra help! He is fair and gives a very manageable amount of homework. If you pay attention in class and don't slack off, you won't regret it. I still remember some of the things we learned from this class that are useful to know in college!!!
He is my favorite teacher so far in high school. Although he is not very clear in some of his explanations at time, the castle learning that he assigns for us are extremely helpful for the lessons, tests, and quizzes. Although he gives us a lot of labs and we have to type everything, but most of them are fun and cool labs. We sometimes relax and chat rather than doing work but it's entertaining. He also drops your lowest quiz grade and not to mention he's really nice! :)
Switch out! You won't learn a thing from him you will have to study on your own. However I got a high C for my quarter average and he bumped me to a B. He's nice but not good teacher especially since chemistry is hard.
He is fairely easy. He goes over a question several times so after 1 or 2 times, you will get it. Sometimes though, he doesn't explain things well and would move very fast, but he is a good teacher.
Cant really explain the work, i have to learn everything on my own
One of the best teachers. Can help you a lot when you need it. Little Homework also
one of the coolest teachers i've ever had. he loves his job and is open with his students. if you try in his class, he knows and he'll reward you
BEST Chemistry teacher. Laided back but really helpful to those who want to learn. Take notes and pay attention in class and you will do well in chem.
Amazing teacher. If you take notes and actually try to get a good grade you will be rewarded. Hes one of the coolest teacher i had ever had.
