Corky, Short Kevin, Mr. Corcoran... whatever you want to call him, he's one of the greatest teachers on the planet. Enthusiastic, energetic, devoted and very knowledgeable, Corky brings all he's got to the classroom. A bit intimidating at first, you'll learn to love him. APUSH is rigorous, but doing his work and coming to class will produce results you'll want to see. Great teacher and great man! Highly recommend.
Seems like a tough teacher at first but progressing through the course you see he's a great teacher who loves his students. He wants everyone to pass his class nothing less.
The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires. - William Arthur Ward
Even though I have a 95 average, I think Corky is annoying and makes the class unnecessarily difficult. At best, he explains, but most of the time he pontificates and skips really important parts of American history for propoaganda's sake. He is simple-minded, strict, and stubborn in his teaching.
loove him!!! really a great teacher and really prepared everyone for the AP beware, it is a hard class that does require work!!! but if you do all of it, participate in class and do okay on the test youll get an 80 or 90 he doesnt seem approachable at first bt by the end of the year you love him!
Corcoran is the best man. Ever. Anyone who says he's too mean needs to grow up. He's such a great teacher.
He's awesome! He's intimidating but it made me work even harder in his class. I think he's one of the best teachers I've had!
I had this guy for Global Studies II in my 10th grade year. ('95-'96) He was a great teacher and always made learning fun. He was tough on people who didn't do their homework!
hes a cool guy, doesnt always teach. hes funny in a sarcastic way it brightens every morning. hes makes us laugh a lot. tests were hard sometimes unless we studied
funny but obnoxious and scary and not in a good way like freeberg. not very helpful afterclass because of that. cool, but i personally dislike him.
There is truly no better human being than Mr. Corcoran, in all aspects of his teaching and personality. I wish I could have him to confer with on a daily basis.
Had him for LAw and Gov this year, wish i had him earlier, at the top of the teachers i had, Corcoran is the man
Mr. Corcoran was by far my favorite teacher that I had from freshman to senior year. Defenetly a hard course..but very worth the work. He was intersting/funny!
the freakin' man, teaches very well for a very difficult test. you can talk to him about anything! keep playin' godball
KC's the man! When he' s not bumping Lewis & Clark in his ride, he's being a tough teacher. AP US History has a huge workload but is very interesting and fun
He's a little insane, but he's an awesome teacher, and he keeps it fresh and fun. Great class, highly recommended.
It is hard but then again i have him for AP. I am learning so much from this man and I love this class, One of the best teachers I ever had
He's by far the best history teacher I've ever had, and he's flat out the man. Corcoran is one of the best, if not the best teacher in NRHS
By far the coolest man in NRHS...Tough class but every second was enjoyable with KC...5/6 2003 was awesome...keep on rockin corcoran
he's amazing. i love him to death. he has made me realize how great some teachers can be. i hope he knows how much he is appreciated. for everything.
Mr. Corcoran's class is enjoyable every minute. He is hard but he helps you realize that you truly are smart and able to work like a college kid. A great year
Mr. Corcoran is a really amazing person. but it's a really tough curriculum- kinda overwhelming for a junior. His class would be an amazing college course.
Corky is the man, best teacher I've ever had. A lot of work but it's worth it. Great AP class
AP is dumb hard but this history buff makes it mad fun
His passion for his subject shows throug his teaching. He's great!
