He is an incredibly clear and knowledgeable teacher. While his tests can sometimes be difficult, as long as you pay attention in class and do some of the textbook homework, you should do well. If you continue to struggle, he is very accessible. Additionally, his puns always make class more enjoyable.
A super nice guy who is very clear in his teaching and always ensures everyone understands him. Algebra 1 with him was great!
He is an excellent teacher and very knowledgable.
He can kind of be confusing in his explanations and he explains things in a complicated manner. It's true, he does make you feel a bit stupid for asking questions... he's a very punny man. Overall, he's pretty tough but he does prepare you really well for the AP Exam so thats definitely a plus. Most people get Bs in his class but 5s on the AP. Also, some of his tests are really easy (but not many!) and others are SOOO hard!
Very tough, but funny and prepares you for the AP exams like no other. Do the homework he gives you. It's optional, but it really helps you on the quizzes and tests!
great guy, can have hard tests, but listen to his advice and you can get an A
great guy, but he always throws a question on every test that almost no one can get. usually after tests are back, in 3 seconds you hit yourself because the hard question was simple aplication problem
he's nice, but his tests are impossible. He's very sarcastic most of the time and makes you feel bad when you ask questions. Also he often makes these leaps in logic that are hard to follow...
honors trig is impossible and no one should ever take it but hes a pretty nice guy
good teacher but he can be mean sometimes and make you feel stupid if you go in for extra help
Last class I had with him was H-Trig, and its too bad, cause he's super fly. Gotta love a teacher who brings his kids into class, then tells them math jokes.
he makes you think alot and makes really corny jokes...makes fun of you alot
To love mr. joyce you have to know 2 things: 1. he always wins no matter what and 2. get used to the math jokes every five minutes
