Mrs. Dougherty was one of the best teachers I've ever had. She never gave up on you, no matter how helpless you thought you were in her class. She pushed us and made us work hard for A's and never gave out easy grades. My work ethic increased dramatically because of her class. Wish she'd be alive today to be my teacher. I'll miss her and won't forget the wisdom she gave me from being in her class. RIP Mr.s Dougherty, you will be missed dearly.

I didn't have her as a teacher but i had friend that had her. she is an amazing teacher she loved doing drama production it her passion. RIP Mrs Dougherty, you will be missed.5-1-13

I thought I could come into her class freshman year and be a superstar in there, but in the most in your face way possible, she shut that dream down and brought me to reality. She was the toughest teacher I've ever had. I was lucky to manage a C in that class. HOWEVER, she honestly cared more about my class than we let her. I grew closer to her by working in the drama department. I then realized her love for us was measured by how far she pushed us. She's probably my favorite teacher for that.

I was in a meeting with Dougherty and her principal Mrs. Cartlidge and found Dougherty, crude, rude and ignorant to the point that I ended the meeting. I found also that the principal has no backbone whatsoever and had no control of either the meeting or Dougherty. Total waste of time meeting with either one. I also regard her smoking in the classroom and outside the back door a pretty poor example for the students. She has no business in any classroom.

Evil, not caring for her students. As a parent, she yelled at me on two separate occasions. She thinks she is on Broadway--but, no such luck! Frustrated and ill all the time out of the classroom may too much can not ever reach her to talk --she just yells even at her prinipal! With that said, she belongs at home not with students.
