I love Ms. Sweet, and I hope she comes back to Northgate next year. I had her as a freemen, and I haven't met another teacher on this campus who can compare. She actually cares about her students and went out of her way to help us academically or personally. I learned a lot from her, and I enjoyed going to her class every day. How many teachers greet you at the door with a handshake and a smile? I know that my friends miss her too, and I hope to see her name when I get my fall schedule:-)
Everyone loves Ms. Sweet, and Northgate is not the same school without her. She taught two of my children, and I have never had a teacher be as communicative, nor have I ever heard my kids be so positive about their teacher. She stayed in constant contact with all and parents via her weekly e-mail, and she always returned my calls, often calling me in the evening from home. I have yet to meet a more dedicated, kind-hearted teacher. I know that Northgate families miss her very much.
Ms. Sweet had to leave this year but the time she was hear was great I learned a lot and was very happy to have Ms. Sweet
Ms. Sweet is a great teacher. She helps her students out with essays and writing techniques. Also, Ms. Sweet knows exactly what her students are going through as freshmen. NG is lucky to have her!
l love Ms. Sweet, she is the kindest teacher I have ever had, her work load is a little heavy, but shes the best teachers I've ever had.
ms. sweet rocks! she is a very kind hearted person who gives people a second chance at things. she also has a student appreciation day where she gives out treats to everyone and we play games
I'm grateful to Ms. Sweet-She is one of the only teachers at Northgate who actually responds to e-mail, and she gives students a second chance, even when she doesn't have to.
legit. she has student appreciation day every week and celebrates our birthdays:-) her name is perfect
When SO many of our teachers left last year, she stayed. She is one of the best teachers, and we are lucky to have her. If you don't get her in your schedule next year, figure out a way to transfer in
LOVE Ms. Sweet. Everyone does. Sign up for Leadership if you don't get her for English. She's sweet, helpful, and fun. Anyone that says otherwise has serious issues.
Ms. Sweet volunteered to teach Leadership (for very little pay), and she always goes out of her way to help kids and communicate with parents.
From what I gather she is nice to her English students but she completely disregards respect for her leadership clas. This makes students hate the class and the school suffers.
Ms. Sweet is dedicated, kind and communicative. She has the loyalty to stay at Northgate when so many have deserted the school. She loves to teach, and it shows. Thanks Ms. Sweet!
Very respectful with students. Makes an effort to get to know us as people. I learned a lot.
i didnt like her much, we didnt agree on much stuff at all.
A little too heavy-handed with regard to political correctness, means well though, defenintely on some type of mission.
Ms. Sweet, is exactly that, SWEET, but she is very hard and challenging. she runs a strict class.
We didn't agree on much, but she was a good teacher. Nice person.
