he's extremely full of himself and ignores and makes fun of the few girls in his classes. if you're not one of his favorites he makes class miserable. physics was something i was very interested in studying. the homework and tests were easy it's his treatment of students that made this class hard to come into every day.
Goes on at least one half hour tangent per class. pretty condescending especially in lab. it's really hard to focus in his class because it's often just a free for all, but he knows a lot about physics and the tests are fair.
Full of himself and not a good teacher. Gets off topic constantly and makes you try to teach yourself which makes his job completely useless. I learned nothing in his class and although all the physics teachers are bad at least they're easier and nicer than this man. He has a bad personality and is rude to students constantly. He should be fired.
Mr. G was the best science teacher I have ever had. He was knowledgeable and helpful, and he made concepts easy to understand. I have always had to work hard in science, and his class was no exception. He did many demonstrations and we did a lot of hands-on work, which made it easy to learn. I remember being annoyed about reading the textbook for homework before lessons, but as an educator myself now, I understand. I took this class 10 years ago and it is still my favorite-ever science class.
He often went off on tangents in class. His attempts at getting us to teach ourselves by literally never assigning homework after then end of the first quarter failed absolutely miserably, and is continuing with his little "experiment" as you read this, most likely. He was a nice person, and he certainly seems capable, he just doesn't spend much time actually teaching.
we had a great time in this class... chimpanzee riding on a segway!! the six flags trip was great too
Ok so was that sarcasm or the truth? I'm confused. Made so many "jokes" or puns that were like -_- and then would get pissed and said now it's back to work. Hard tests, offers help, decent teacher
very full of himself and has a tendency to go off on 30-min tangents during class. then he complains about how ill-prepared students are for his tests. sheesh.
His class was mad hard, but he helped me every now and then. We went off on a lot of tangents and sometimes I got confused about what we were doing
Helped me A LOT, so i owe him one. Good teacher and a good guy. Only when he snapped at times and went from okay to super strict I'd get scared
His class is the only class I've ever struggled in. His tests are mad hard. He makes a lot of ridiculous jokes and goes on tangents about literally everything, his class is like comedy club.
i personally can't stand him and his sarcastic and dorky jokes. i also can't stand how he uses blackboard- especially to do labs!
Took Mr. Gigante's class in 1998...still remember all physics equations and experiments...I use many of them to teach my own students now...very cool teacher...knowledgeable
Mr. Gigante is a great Physics Teacher....take his class...only reason he got a 4 under easiness is because his tests are hard
Best physics teacher, Had him and passed the worst regents ever given, took physics in college to get a 4.0 thanks gig.
Excellent Teacher, is more than willing to help students, young and understands that people make mistakes and are trying. Take if you can.
He can be funny and nice at times, but other times he has spazz attacks. He teaches alright.. but he should go over tests I think people would learn more then
A very knowledgable and talented teacher but demanding, while assigning lots of homework. He is also fairly inflexible when it comes to school policies.
kris is the coolest guy and is passionate about his job and his students
very good guy, we made jokes, and had fun while learning alot
