It isn't often you meet a teacher who cares about the student and doesn't come to work just to collect a check. One of the finest teachers of the class of 96. He's an "ok" chess player too. ;)
Good Teacher, Great Coach, better person! Class of 1988
As a transfer student, it was easy to see that Mr. Brinks is one of Holland High's greatest assets. He's friendly, old-fashioned and clear. He's also hilarious, pretending he's going to beat you up if you don't do your homework.

Mr. Brinks made AP Calculus easy for someone who deplores math.
Kurt is the best teacher at the school. After completing my math minor this year, I thought back and realized that my best math teacher of my educational career was actually in High School.
Definitely the best teacher in the school. He was very understandable in AP Calculus and really knows how to teach the subject.
Brinks was and still is the greatest. Definitely learned a ton from him and yet we all had a good time while doing it.
I loved him in high school, but when I went to visit him while in college, he totally blew me off!! Pretty good teacher, but not the nicest guy if you're not an athlete... Anonym
Bring is a very kind person and a great teacher. Nearly everyone in our class got a 4/5 on the AP Calc exam.. and perhaps 3 people didnt take it.
Great Guy, very difficult class but you can get a good grade if you work hard, watch out for headlocks
He is one of the best math teacher in HS. He is very hard, but you will leave his class learning a lot.
Awesome teacher! Makes class really fun, and explains material thoroughly...Great person as well
Not easy cuz the material is difficult. Brinks is awesome though, best teacher I ever had. Genuinely cares about the students.
This guy is awesome! I learned more in his class than any other, and he's ALWAYS willing to help
