First year with her was really fun and easy. I can agree that shes a great teacher. Then next year all of sudden, her classes become alot harder (more annoying since its not really hard) and she isnt as cool as b4. Writing character sheets are a waste of time. Supossedly u can spend 10 minute writing them out on a paper so u can study easily. Or you can always open ur book and get the same results. also she recently gives hella quizzes.......and she had a test on 20 pinyins right after a unit test....
if you already know some mandarin then mandarin 1 should be easy for you. if you don't know any mandarin, then its going to be a lot of work
most amazing teacher i had my freshman year. she is very helpful...and I recommend taking Mandarin!!
Really nice and incredibly smart. Mandarin in and of itself is a tough subject, so even though she may be nice, the class itself can be very hard.
makes stuff harder no idea what she is talking about learning too fast shes sorta cool sometimes though probably a best language teacher
Colonel Xu, ni hao! Just a joke. She's a sweet person and makes the toughest language at Bellarmine fun.
very good teacher. gets stricter each year, but its only so we learn mandarin better. shes more than willing to help students if they fall behind. extremely fair
very great and helpful helpful is the thing because when you have a bigg bigg bigg problem she would help you out. and although she gives you a lot of homework.. ITS FOR THE GOOD!!
Very good teacher. She's a very warm and friendly teacher. She's never taken her stress out on us as other teachers often do, nor has she ever cursed. She's very professional.
Ms. Xu is the nicest teacher EVER. If you take her all 4 years, she's probably the closest adult friend you'll ever have.
Mrs. Xu brings a warm personality to Mandarin and provides a sense of community with the language in her classes. She is outstanding.
