picks favorites especially in my class. noticeably gives favorites better grades than others who still try hard.
Okay grader. Not really sure what she wanted in a paper, and she talked a lot during class. Say interesting points during discussion and meet w/ her for papers. You'll get at least a B /A-.
She was a decently hard grader, and at midterms I was surprised. She knows when you aren't working hard, and if you try and see her for extra help your writing will improve tons.
she chose bad reading material, and wasn't very helpful in revising papers
Very nice person, has a strange sense of humour though. I dont think she plays favorites, she seems to like the troublemaker of the class as much as the intellectual of the class.
She was a hard grader, and she may pick favorites but if you get on her good side she is the best! I loved her she is so great!
if youre not her favorite, you might as well bounce from the class. we never got to do meditiations
It's unfortunate when one has to do journal things everyday. Ms. Hammond gives poor feedback despite the heavily marked paper and is VERY hard to read
when you haven't done your homework or don't want to do anything in class ask to meditate and then do creative writing. then ask to talk about it.
Hardcore hippie, love meditations, but for such a "free-spirit", she's too strict on the eng dept rules. Doesn't expand your writing capabilities
Nutcase. But I liked class, even though I was in the same class as the 'carver'. Could have been really boring, but we had some 'interesting' people in class.
Mrs.Hammond is such a helpful teacher. If you're open minded, and you want to learn something, you'll have a great class.
Can you say Hippie?? Ok so meditations were cool, but the readings awful. No one has been coming to class for the past weeks, I feel kind of bad. But our discussions arent good. She talks the entire time
im suprised at what ive read so far, i founf her reading material exceptional and diverse. our assignments were challenging, discussions were always prodcutive
can you say: insipid, pablum, soporific--thank you mr D for teaching me that word
the worst english classes i've ever had...look for all my quotes on the table which were a desperate attempt to escape my boredom...
