Larry Bosc was an awesome AP European History teacher at Chapel Hill High School back in the 1980s. To this day, I still have my text books from that class. He was tough, and I wanted to drop out after failing my first test, but I stuck it out. I was never prouder of a 'B' than in his class. I have to think of him now because I just published an oped referencing "Going to Canossa" - which I learned from him.
When I first walked into the holy shrine that is Bosc's lair,I was immediately overwhelmed with the putrid scent of English Breakfast Tea. At first I was taken aback by his balding head, before I realized just how kind of hot he is. Today, I still dream of him every time I create knowledge questions. My mother worries for me as I sit in a ball under the dinner table praying to Bosc and creating knowledge questions.Bosc, you are my favourite teacher, even though you are admittedly a little crusty.
The only teacher that motivated me to miss less than 10 class periods with interesting discussions and material. A little too Conservative though.
Love.Listen.Larry. These three words are the pinnacle of today's society and for good reason. Larry has been a great mentor and I am proud to be his Apprentice. For while he was a harsh and demmanding master, he has taught be all I know in the dangerous field of Tea Brewing. My parents disapproved of my obsession with Tea, but Bosc understood. He taught me the correct procedure to extract the flavour of the leaf whilst battling the influences of Nixon. I thank ye Bosc. I bid you adiou
Mr. Bosc is one of my favorite teachers of all time. He relates to his students well and all of his students have unparalleled repsect for him. He has high standards, but achievable ones. He's a great guy and great teacher. And has great taste in movies!
great teacher who really prepares me for college. sometimes he can be very opinionated and play favorites, but he's an amazing person!
