You either love this guy or you hate him, few in between. I didn't like him and the feeling was mutual. But, I had friends who got a lot out of his class. You are going to run into people you don't get along with, good to learn how to deal with that.
This guy is one of the biggest jerks I've ever had the misfortune of taking a class from. He was openly abusive to me in class, made me the butt of all his jokes, and actually told the class "you don't want to be stupid like XXX." I'll admit that I was not a serious student my senior year of high school, but no one deserves to be treated the way he treated me. It took me 5 years before I took another math class, and oh by the way, I'm finishing my PhD in applied math this year. Avoid this guy.
A good math teacher, although he has a very negative attitude and can be aggressive.
made math super fun for me, by far the funniest teacher ive met, always had a great sense of humor
Foster is hilarious! Very sarcastic sense of humour. If you're not good at math though, switch out because he is probably the hardest math teacher in the school.
Mr. Foster was the best math teacher I've every had! Loved him to death, and even though his tests were hard, it was for the best. :)
Wonderful math teacher-- He's easy to understand, gives quality notes to prepare you for a test, extremely funny, and well organized.
Very well-organized. His teaching is productively systematic, efficient, and consistent so that students can adapt and LEARN. Follow the rules and succeed.
mr. foster is an awesome teacher! he can be tough sometimes but you learn a lot from him.
he's an okay teacher, not the best, but very funny, so even though I naturally hate math, I don't hate hon. pre-calc that much
Does not seem to relate well to parents. Larry seems to expect too much from his students. He treats them like they are college kids, which sadly is not the best way to learn.
Amazing teaching skills! Unparalleled coolness! Awesome action sequences! I haven't learned this much about math (or how to be cool) in any class, since ever. Everyone can learn a little something from Foster.
Foster is totally awesome. If he taught every class I would love school at least a thousand times more. It's like you go there expecting a class on math, but instead you are educated on awesomeness... along with learning the math too.
Probably the best teacher ever. He teaches things very well and doesn't hesitate to help you if you need it. He's also very funny and his disciplinary actions are very fair. I greatly respect him and wish he was my father.
Possibly my favorite teacher of all time. I loved how he incorporated humor into his lessons, and was very helpful and knowledgeable.
The class is really hard but that just because its honors algebra 3/4. Foster is a great teacher and hes really funny.
Hard course, great teaching, strict grader, funny jokes (most of the time lol)
tough class but great teacher. funny jokes (if you get them) he really knows his stuff. you'll thank him once you hit pre-calc. he really teaches you the stuff
Really good teacher, although an extremely hard grader.
Hes funny, especially when he makes those jokes, he knows how to teach the material so much better than my teacher last semester, and he gets us ready for tests
hes a cool teach and all... but his jokes confuse me and then his monotonous voice makes me wanna sleep and then his explanations are way too long.
good guy, very strict with grading, and the way you solve things, even if the way you use is correct.
Mr. Foster is awesome. he makes the class interesting. Anyone who can make Algebra 4 interesting must be super talented. His jokes are hilarious.
Mr. Foster is one of my favorite teachers of all time. He makes everything very clear, and is very helpful. He also makes a lot of jokes, which makes it fun.
he is a good teacher, and the test are hard but hey its good someone is making us think
hes hard and makes REALLY REALLY bad jokes, and doesnt appruciate variation on methods of solving, even if they are mathmatically correct
I hate it when on tests he puts those extending your knowleadge questions
the class may be hard, but at least the teacher actually teaches!
